Each of these wells was found to have a void in the conductor. These voids were filled with cement if needed and corrosion inhibitor, engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serves as notification that the treatments took place and meets the requirements of form 10-404, Report of Sundry Operations. The- cement was pumped September 24 & December 12 2007 and the corrosion inhibitor/sealant was pumped on December 6 & December 14 2007. The attached spreadsheet presents the well name, top of cement depth prior to filling, and volumes used on each conductor. Supervisor January 4, 2001 FROM: Chuck Scheve; SUBJECT: Petroleum Inspector Safety Valve Tests Kuparuk River Unit _2A Pad .Thursday, January 4, 2001: I traveled to the Kuparuk River Field and witnessed the semi annual safety valve system testing on 2A Pad. As the attached AOGCC Safety Valve System Test Report indicates I witnessed the testing of 12 wells and 24 components with one failure observed. The Surface Safety Valve on Well 2A-12 had a slow leak when pressure tested. This valve will be serviced and retested by the operator. Earnie Barndt conducted the testing today he demonstrated good test procedure and was a pleasure to work with All the wellhouses entered at this location were clean and all related equipment appeared to be in gOod condition. Summary: I witnessed the semi annual SVS testing at 2A Pad in the Kuparuk River Field. September 23, 1993: I traveled to Kuparuk's 2A pad and witnessed the function test of Parker 245's diverter system. The rig had just moved on hole from 2A-16. The Diverter Systems Inspection Report is attached for reference. The function test began at 11:00 a.m. and went well. I found the rig to be in excellent condition. All components functioned properly and no problems were found. There were two separate 10" ball valves off of the 20" hydrill diverter. The controls were such that either the starboard 10" ball valve or the port side 10" ball valve would open (not together) when the hydrill closed depending on prevailing wind conditions. The 10" lines had 3 targeted tee's each and were vented sufficiently far enough away from ignition sources. I found the layout acceptable for the situation. Maximum anticipated surface pressure is calculated using a surface casing leak-off of 13.5 ppg EMW and a gas gradient of 0.11 psi/ft. This shows that formation breakdown would occur before a surface pressure of 1707 psi could be reached. Therefore, ARCO Alaska, Inc. will test the BOP equipment to 3000 psi. The nearest well to 2A-17 is 2A-10. As designed, the minimum distance between the two wells would be 20' @ 300' MD. The wells would diverge from that point. Incidental fluids developed from drilling operations will be hauled to the nearest permitted disposal well or will be pumped down the surface/production casing annulus of the last well drilled. That annulus will be left with a non-freezing fluid during any extended shut down (> 4hr) in pumping operations.
