The Pan Am Redoubt Shoal No. 2 exploration well discovered this accumulation in 1968. It lies within the Hemlock Formation, about 11,500' below sea level. In 2000, Forest Oil Corporation (“Forest”) set Osprey, the 16th Cook Inlet platform, explore and develop the field. Regular production began in December 2000, and average daily production peaked in May 2003 at rates of 3,481 barrels of oil, 853 MCF of gas, and 2,742 barrels of water from four producing wells.
