Each of these wells was found to have a void in the conductor by surface casing annulus. The voids that were greater than 6 feet were first filled with cement to a level of 2.5 feet. The remaining volume, 2.5 to 6 feet of annular void respectively was coated with a corrosion inhibiter, RG2401, then filled with a viscous hydrocarbon based sealant, RG casing filler, engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serves as notification that the treatments took place and meets the requirements of form 10-404, Report of Sundry Operations. The cement top-fill operation was completed on August 14,2006 and is reported as follows. Schlumberger Well Services mixed 15.7 ppg Arctic set I in a blender tub. The cement was pumped into the conductor bottom and cemented up via a hose run to the existing top of cement. The corrosion inhibitor and sealant were pumped in a similar manner August 21-29, 2006. The attached spreadsheet presents the well name, top of cement depth prior to filling, and volumes used on each conductor. MARCIT is MARathon Oil Company's Conformance Improvement Treatment and consists of a polyacrylamide crosslinked with chromic acetate for treating a variety of conformance problems in both injection and production wells. The MARCIT gel technology was selected based on robust gel chemistry, controllable gellation rates and field successes in treating fractures, matrix or both. A successful Marcit treatment was pumped in 11/94 on Producing Well 3F-02 that increased the total oil production by 450 B©PD. The A Sand will be isolated during the treatment. The C Sand perfs open to the treatment are 7326' - 7451' MD-RKB. The goal of this treatment is a reduction in the water relative permeability of the C1 thief interval. If achieved, the treatment would reduce the amount of water entering the thief zone and divert the waterflood to unswept pore volume in the C34 Sand. Selected intervals will be logged. A 20", 2000 psi annular diverter will be installed on the 16" conductor while drilling the surface hole. A 13-5/8", 5000 psi, RSRRA BOPE stack will be installed on the 9-5/8" surface pipe. The stack and related equipment will be tested to 3000 psig upon installation and weekly thereafter. Expected maximum surface pressure is 2641 psi. Pressure calculations are based on virgin reservoir pressure. Surface pressure is calculated with an unexpanded gas bubble at surface, including temperature effects. Casing will be tested to 3000 psi prior to releasing the drilling rig. Non-freezing fluids will be left in uncemented annuli through the permafrost interval. 3F-3 will be 25' away from 3F-2 at the surface. There are no closer wellbores anywhere downhole. Reserve pit fluids will be disposed of by pumping them down the 7" x 9-5/8" annulus of this well. The 7" x 9-5/8" annulus will be left with a non-freezing fluid during any interruptions in the disposal process.
