Dip: 60-7Cf on alignment of sandy zones. Rated fair. P & P: Tight. No cut or stain. Bottom ~ ft. burned in core barrel and has a rotten marshy odor. Yellow-white fluorescence from calcite. Sandstone and siltstone Core #7 - Recovered 4' 4' Siltstone, gray, extremely argillaceous, basal two feet thinly laminated, slightly micaceous, scattered thin calcite filled fractures, no cut, stain, odor, or fluorescence, dip 55-80°, rated as good. Sandstone and siltstone Core #8 - Recovered 10' 10' Siltstone, dark gray to black, extremelyargUlaceous, slightly micaceous, has a few fracture planes dipping 6Cf with slickensides indicating dip slip movement, no cut, stain, odor, or fluorescence. Dip 85-90°, rated as good. Sandstone and siltstone Core #9 - Recovered 3' 3' Sandstone, gray, very fine grained, argillaceous and tight, irregular carbonaceous streaks, minor contorted bedding, scattered vertical fractures, no stain or odor, but dull reddish yellow fluorescence throughout and local bright yellow fluorescence along some fractures - which yields a yellow fluorescing colorless cut. Dip 20° - good. Sandstone and siltstone Core #10 - Recovered 7' 7' Siltstone, dark gray, firm, slightly micaceous. Massive, rare fracture filled with white calcite. The top of the pipe shall be closed with a cap or cement plug and the marker should show in a permanent manner the name of operator, well number and location. 6. Equipment and valuable material shall be removed from the well site or dis- mantled and arranged in an orderly manner; junk and debris shall be removed or destroyed; pits and cellars shall be filled and leveled and the well site, including sumps, shall be placed in a clean and orderly condition. 7. The hole should be converted to a fresh water well if practical. 8. A subsequent Report of Abandonment on Form 9-33la, giving a detailed ac- count of all wOLk performed, including location of cement plugs, casing pulled, ca~ing left in the well, date of placing surface plug or cap, shall be filed in triplicate, witl1in 15 days after completion of the work and the District Engineer or the Supervisor shall be-notified when the well site has been cleaned up and is ready far inspection.
