Jim Regg will probably send an Inspector out for your next test. Could you make sure the 5K test chart is operable and accurate for the next Inspector. I really like your kill manifold (pump manifold). The two valves on the manifold that end the kill line are the only valves that need be tested for AOGCC compliance. Could we R/U the chart recorder sensor some where on the pump manifold & have the recorder possibly in the accumulator house? The line test previous to the pressure test of your well control equipment & the block valve at the pump help the inspection immensely. My understanding is that you are working at more winterazation & that is always helpful. You have some very good people out there working in a very difficult situation. Thanks for all your help. Good luck with your Operation. Visited the well and observed the well head hook-up composed of a series 900 Shaffer control and a series 900 Hydril BOP, both rated at 3000 psi. The drill pipe was being run in the hole at the time. Had crew close the pipe rams which functioned in a satisfactory-manner, closing in about five seconds. Then tested closing of the Hydril which was also satisfactory. The cellar hook-up consisted of fill,up lines which could act as bleed-off lines through fixed beans with gates that could close off or divert the flow while beans were being changed. The accumulators for the Hydril and Shaffer were carrying 1050 psi. While waiting for the plane to return, I visited the Cottonwood Creek ~1 loca- tion. While the area was covered in with more than a foot of snow, the loca- tion appeared to be level and clean. The marker was a four-inch pipe protrud- ing ten feet above ground level and bead-welded upon it were the company name, well name and number, the distance from corner of section, the te~nship and range, meridian, and the abandonment date. Passing the Granite Point platforms with the tide flowing in (toward us), there were no visible signs of any oil or' other contamination. There was, however~ an oily-appearing streak left on the ice trailing a small boat working through the ice toward Anchorage from the Tyonek area. Returned to Anchorage via same plane and arrived home after 5:30 p.m. KLV/jma Form STAT~ .~F ALASKA (Other instructions ~a re- OIL AND GAS' CONSERVATION COMMISSIONverse ~,de) SUNDRY NOTICES AND REPORTS ON WELLS (Do not use this form for proposals to drill or to deepen or plug back to a different reservoir.
