Alaska. .
ITEM 1a: Classification of Service Wells: Gas Injection, Water Injection, Water-Altemating-Gas Injection, Salt Water Disposal, Water
Supply for Injection, Observation, or Other. Multiple completion is defined as a well producing from more than one pool with
production from each pool completely segregated. Each segregated pool is a completion.
ITEM 4b: TPI (Top of Producing Interval).
ITEM 8: The Kelly Bushing elevation in feet above mean low low water. Use same as reference for depth measurements given in other
spaces on this form and in any attachments.
ITEM 13: The API number reported to AOGCC must be 14 digits (ex: 50-029-20123-00-00).
ITEM 20: True vertical thickness.

Displace well over to 10.2 ppg LSND fluid to mill window - 570
gpm, 2,240 psi.
Mill window in 9-5/8', 47# casing from 8,559' to 8,575'. Drill
new hole to 8,590'. Recovered 235# of metal.

Pump a high visc sweep. CBU @ 12.7 bpm, 2,900 psi.
Pull into casing and perform FIT to 11.5 ppg EMW with 10.2

out the elevators.

Approval is requested for the proposed P&A of PBU well K-03A. It is currently producing as a cycle/swing
well, heals poorly, and "on" time is decreasing. K-03A has limited remaining value and no wellwork
options. It is marginally competitive at winter MGOR and is expected to see little production this summer.
The K-03B sidetrack will optimize the use of the existing wellbore and access 1 A/1 B reserves to the South
of K -06A
The sidetrack is currently scheduled for Nabors rig 2ES, beginning around July 26th, 2004, after the
completion of the C-17B sidetrack. The pre-rig work for this sidetrack will begin at the Well's Group
earliest convenience after sundry approval.

Pre-Ria Work:
1. Fluid pack as necessary for cement plug. /"
2. R/U and RIH with coil tubing to plug and'ábandon the wel
of 9200'. Estimated cement volume (12.bbIS.
3. Pressure test the tubing and cement pJüg to 3500 psi. /'
4. R/U slick-line. Drift the 4 Y2" tubing to at least 8,600' md to confirm clear to the required cut depth.
5. R/U E-line. RIH with chemical cutter and severe the 4 Y2" tubing in the center of the full joint of tubing
between the sliding sleeve and the production packer -8,600' md. ,/
6. Displace the well to clean seawater by circulating down the tubing through the tubing cut. Continue to
circulate until clean seawater returns to surface. Freeze protect to -2,100' MD with diesel.
7. Bleed casing and annulus pressures to zero. .
8. Cycle the tubing hanger LDS and test the 9 5/8" mandrel packoff to 5000 psi. /
9. Set a BPV and test to 1000 psi from tubing annulus. Secure the well. Level the pad as necessary.

RIH with HES EZSV and set bridge plug as required to avoid cutting casing collar

Pull up into 9 5/8" casing and conduct an FIT to 11.5 ppg EMW. POOH.
M/U 8 V2" Dir/GR/Res assembly. RIH, kick off and drill the 8 1/2" intermediate section to the top of the
Sag River, per directional proposal. Circulate well clean, short trip to window. POOH.
Run and cement a 7",26.0#, L-80 intermediate drilling liner.
Test the 9 5/8" casing X 7" liner to 3,500psi for 30 minutes. Record the test.
M/U 6 1/8" Dir/GR/Neu/Den/ABI assembly. RIH to the landing collar.
Drill out the 7" liner float equipment and cement to the shoe.
Displace the well to 8.4 ppg Flo-Pro drilling fluid.
Drill out the 7" shoe plus drill -20' new formation; pull up into the shoe and conduct an FIT to 10.0ppg
EMW. Drill ahead to horizontal landing point. POOH for bit I BHA change. Drop Neu/Den.
RIH, drill horizontal section to planned TO, short trip as necessary.
Circulate, short trip, spot liner running pill, POOH.
Run and cement a 4 V2", 12.6#, L-80 solid production liner. POOH LID all drill pipe.
RIH with 27/8" perf guns and perforate ±800'.
R/U and run 4 1/2", 12.6#, L-80 completion tubing. Land the tubing RILDS.
Set a TWC and test to 1000 psi
Nipple down the BOPE. Nipple up the tree and test to 5,000psi.
Reverse circulate inhibited seawater to the packer depth. Set packer and individually test
and annulus to 3,500psi 30 minutes. Record each test.
Shear the DCK valve and freeze protect the well to -2,100'. Secure the wel

Fridav. ADril 20. 2001: I traveled to BPXs K Pad and witnessed the 3D-day retest
of the safety valve systems.
As the attached AOGCC Safety Valve System Test Report indicates I witnessed the
testing of 11 wells and 22 components with 3 failures. The pilots on wells K-06, K-
07 and K-09 tripped below the required set point. The pilot on well K-09 was
retested and operated properly. Wells K-06 and K-D7 normally flow into the low-
pressure system (at 200 to 300 psi) but were recently switched into the high-
pressure system. The pilots on these two wells were left in the low pressure setting
(125 psi) and tripped near this set point but were failed on this test due to the higher
flowing tubing pressure required to produce into the high pressure system. These
two pilots were adjusted to the higher set pressure (550 psi) and retested at this
time.
Merv Liddelow performed the testing today; he demonstrated good test procedures
and was a pleasure to work with.
A walk through inspection of the well houses on this pad was performed during the
SVS testing with no problems noted. All well houses inspected were reasonably
clean and all equipment appeared to be in fair conditions.
Summary: I witnessed the 30-day retest of the safety valve systems at BPXs K-
Pad in the Prudhoe Bay Field.

K-03a Sidetrack
Summary of Operations:
K-03 IS a poor cycle producer with no attractive gas shut off options K-03 IS currently shut-In
The sidetrack, K-03a, will target remaining Zone 1 and Zone 2 LOC
This sidetrack will be conducted In two phases
Phase 1: set whipstock and downsqueeze abandonment cement: Planned for
1/18/99
· K-03 has passed a tubing integrity test
· A Kinley caliper has been run
· A permanent whipstock will be set on ELine at approximately 9,235' MO
· EXisting perforations will be abandoned with approx 25 bbls cement Abandonment cement
will be downsqueezed past the whipstock and squeezed to 1500 pSI with AOGCC witness
This procedure IS described In more detail In the Form 10-403
Phase 2: Mill Window and Drill Directional Hole: Planned for 1/23/99.
Drilling coil tubing equipment will be rigged up and utilized to mill the window (if not
done by service cOil) and drill the directional hole as per attached plan. The
completion will be a fully cemented 2 7/8" liner If service cOil is used to mill the
window, a flowline will be utilized for fluid returns.
Mud Program:
- Phase 1 Seawater
- Phase 2 Flo-Pro (8 8 - 8 9 ppg)
Liner Program:
- 2 7/8", 6 16#, L-80, ST-L liner will be run from TO to approx 8,715' MO and cemented with
approx 22 bbls cement The well will then be perforated with cOil tubing conveyed guns
Well Control:
- BOP diagram IS attached
- Pipe rams, blind rams and the CT pack off will be pressure tested to 400 pSI and to 4000 pSI
- The annular preventer will be tested to 400 pSI and 2000 pSI
Directional:
- See attachments
- Kick Off 9,240' MO (8,466' TVO ss)
- TO 11,141' MO (8,690' TVO ss)
- Magnetic and Inclination surveys will be taken every 30 ft No gyro will be run
Logging:
· A Gamma Ray log will be run over all of the open hole section
· Phase resistivity log will be run In open hole prior to running the liner
Mud and Cuttings disposal:
All waste mud and cuttings will be Injected at the CC2 facility
Drilling Hazards:
No faults are lost circulation zones are expected within the target polygon of this sidetrack Two
to three small faults will be crossed prior to entering the polygon and are potential lost
circulation zones
