Currently the well is SI, and offers no value due to its lack of annular integrity. A sidetrack / tubing change is seen as the most viable option to restore wellbore integrity, access additional reserves, and maximize value. The Q-07B sidetrack is currently scheduled for Nabors 2ES beginning around 9/25/03, after completing the F-06A sidetrack. The pre-rig work for this sidetrack will be priority scheduled immediately after the Application for Sundry is approved. Scope Pre-Riq Work: 1. P&A existing perforations with/,¢, ement from PBTD to ~10,400' MD 2. Drift 4-1/2" tubing and tag top"of'm~'ment. 3. Chemical cut the 4-1/2", 12.6#, L-80 tubing at ~10,320' MD. 4. Fluid pack T X IA with seawater and freeze protect same. 5. Function all lock-down screws. Repair or replace as needed. 6. Remove the well house. If necessary, level the pad. Please provide total well preparation cost on the handover form. Ri.q Operations: 1. MIRU N2es. 2. Pull BPV. Circulate out freeze protection and displace well to seawater. Set TWC. 3. Nipple down tree. Nipple up and test BOPE. Pull TWC. 4. Pull 4-1/2" tubing from above pre-rig cut. 5. MU 9 5/8" milling assembly and RIH to top of cut tubing stub. Swap well over to 10.0 ppg milling/drilling fluid. 6. RIH with 9-5/8" Baker bottom trip whipstock assembly. Orient whipstock and set on tubing stub 7. Mill window in 9-5/8", 47# casing at 10,300' MD. Drill 20' past middle of window. Perform FIT to 11.0 ppg EMW. POOH 8. MU 8-1/2" drilling assembly with Dir/GR/Res and RIH. Kick off and drill the 8-1/2" intermediate interval to top Sag River at an estimated depth of 10,888' MD. 9. Sent Logs to Anchorage office. Told by Geology to plug back to 11900 ft for horizontal sidetrack at 8945 ft TVDSS. POOH for Cement plug back. Lay out drilling BHA. TIH w/cementing nozzle. Tag up. Pull uphole while laying in cement. Pumped 18 Bbl. 17.0 ppg cement. Pull above cement and wash back down to 11825'. Circualte and POOH. 2116/98 8 11891 Perform weekly BOPE pressure Test. Fax BOP test report to AOGCC. M/U BHA #11 with 2.0 deg. Bent motor. Service CT drive chains and rig. RIH with directional drilling BHA. Tie-in with RA tag. RIH and tag Cement at 11836 ft. Drill soft cement to 11852 ft. Set down 6000 lbs on cement with minimum pump, but cement too soft to kickoff. Wait on Cement. DS lab sample at 4200 psi. Cement in place at 01:20 hrs. Well horizontal at 8947 ft TVDSS. Drill from 12060 - 12468'. Weight stacking, short trip to clean hole. 21t8/98 10 12625 Drill to 12538'. Trip for 1 deg. motor, re-run same bit. TIH, had trouble getting to bottom. Problems with Sperry MWD tools hanging in Gamma mode, toolface information unreliable. Bottom sticky and difficulty keeping toolface. Ream to bottom and drill to 12625'. Sperry tools failed. Trip and replace Sperry MWD. TIH. 2/19/98 11 12996 Trip in hole with BHA #12. Tie-in at RA tag. Run in open hole. Ream hole at 12500-12530. Log Repeat GR pass from 12520 - 12600 ft. Orient TF. Rig on clock at 09:30. Drill horizontal hole from 10625 - 10710 ft. Differentially stuck CT at 12704 ft. Work CT, stop pump and pull free. Wiper trip to window. Drill horizontal hole from 10710 - 12996'. Quit getting motorwork. POOH, leak at CT connector. Change out motor re-run same bit. Install CT connector, pull and pressure test. TIH 2~20~98 12 12996 TIH with drilling BHA. Tie-in with RA tag. RIH. Ream shales at 12500 ft. Pinhole leak at 12500 ft. POOH. Purge CT with Nitrogen. Pull CT onto reel and secure. Work thru shale section 12500'-12550' and thru differential sticking and shale section 12700'-12825'. Both sections very rough and tite. Tag up, orient toolface and drill ahead. 2~22~98 14 13052 Orient TF. Drill to 13038 ft. Differentially stuck pipe. Pull free with no pump pressure. Ream bottom 130 ft. Orient TF. Drill to 13052 ft. Differentially stuck pipe. Work pipe with and without pump pressure. No luck. Circulate Dead Crude and pull free with 10 BBLS crude in open hole on first pull. Circulate in new FIoPro in open hole from 13,052 to 12,300 ft. [120,000 cp and 3% Lubtex]. POOH. Overpulls at 12,720 ft, 12,630 ft, 12,300 ft and 12,230 ft. Bit stuck and 12,230 ft. Motor stalled, unable to move pipe up or down. Circulate in new FIoPro into open hole. Work CT up and down. Spot dead crude, work pipe. No progress. Circulate out crude, continue work stuck pipe 2124198 16 13052 Wash in hole with 3.22" nozzle. Sat down at 12500, 12530 and 12548 ft. Unable to work past 12548 ft. POOH. Grease and inspect gripper chains. Replaced one roller. Cut off400 Ft of CT to change fatigue interval. M/U Tandem straight motor with ARCO hole finder Bit [4" long by 2" OD center profile with four blades to 3.69" OD]. RIH with motor and bit on 1 joint of 2 3/8" Tbg. RIH with BHA #16. Unable to wash past 12535'. POOH, m-dress mill. TIH washing w/mill. 2~25~98 17 12070 RIH with redressed hole finder mill. Mill ledges at 12536' and 12,552'. Unable to work deeper. POOH. The 2" nose on mill was worn. L/D BHA. Perform weekly BOPE test. Clean pits. Load new rio-pro. MU BHA #17 with MWD and 2.4 deg motor for open hole sidetrack. RIH. Tie-in (+1'). RIH with liner on 2-3/8" CT. Saw window at 11360'. Push from 11360' downhole and set down at 11428' (solids). PU and RIH at 40'/min. Work thru various spots below 12500'. Tag TD at 13045'. Recip 20' at 56K. Circ FIoPro while WO vac trucks. Displaced FIo-Pro with 200 bbl 2% KCL water. Dropped 5/8" Ball and displaced to ball seat. Sheared at 2800 psi, PU released. Set 1 Ok wt on hanger. Safety Meeting, Batch mix cement. Pumped 3 bbl water ahead, PT to 4000 psi, pumped 19.5 bbl cement, dropped plug, pumped 5 bbl water behind. Displace cement. Sheared LWP at 59.6 bbls with 2800 psi, Displaced liner and plug bumped at 74 bbl. SD Checked flow, (OK) Unstung with 500 psi. Washed up hanger. Painted Orange Flag at 10300' EOP(electrical). POOH chasing fluid to surface. OOH, PU CSH BHA. TIH 3/1/98 21 TIH to 10400'. Stopped and WOC. At 0700 hrs, UCA = 300 u. TIH to wash out liner. Tagged at 12975'. Circ wellbore full of used FIo-Pro. POOH to for logs. Stand back 41 stds CSH (wet string). MU SWS Memory CNL on CSH pup. RIH with 41 stds CSH. Logged at 60 FPM down the liner, Logged repeat section. POOH logging OH. The sidetrack, Q-07a, will target the 14P sand with an inverted tail into the 21P sand. This sidetrack will be conducted in two phases. Phase 1: Lay bandonment cement and set whipstock: Planned for 1115198. · Q-07 has passed a tubing integrity test. The well haS been drifted and a Kinley caliper has been run. · Existing perforations will be abandoned with approx. 20 bbls of cement. Abandonment cement will be tagged and pressure tested to 1500 psi with AOGCC witness. · A permanent whipstock will be set on ELine at approximately 11,354' MD. Phase 2: Mill Window and Drill Directional Hole: Planned for 1/23198. Directional drilling coil tubing equipment will be rigged up and utilized to mill the window and drill the directional hole as per attached plan to planned TD of 12,978' MD (8,935' 'l-VDss). Mud Program: - Phase 1: Seawater - Phase 2: FIo-Pro (8.8 - 8.9 ppg) Casing Program: - 2 7/8", 6.16#, L-80, ST-L liner will be run from TD to approx. 10,420' MD and cemented with approx. 20 bbls. cement.
