Submit a well schematic diagram with each 10-407 well completion report and 10-404 well sundry report when the downhole well design is changed. Item 1 a: Classification of Service Wells: Gas Injection,Water Injection,Water-Alternating-Gas Injection,Salt Water Disposal,Water Supply for Injection, Observation,or Other. Multiple completion is defined as a well producing from more than one pool with production from each pool completely segregated. Each segregated pool is a completion. Item 4b: TPI(Top of Producing Interval). Item 8: The Kelly Bushing and Ground Level elevation in feet above mean sea level. Use same as reference for depth measurements given in other spaces on this form and in any attachments. Item 13: The API number reported to AOGCC must be 14 digits(ex: 50-029-20123-00-00). Item 20: Report true vertical thickness of permafrost in Box 20. Provide MD and TVD for the top and base of permafrost in Box 28. Item 23: Attached supplemental records for this well should show the details of any multiple stage cementing and the location of the cementing tool. Item 24: If this well is completed for separate production from more than one interval(multiple completion),so state in item 1,and in item 23 show the producing intervals for only the interval reported in item 26. (Submit a separate form for each additional interval to be separately produced, showing the data pertinent to such interval). Item 27: Method of Operation: Flowing,Gas Lift,Rod Pump,Hydraulic Pump,Submersible,Water Injection,Gas Injection,Shut-In,or Other(explain). Request: Approval is requested for the P&A of Prudhoe Bay well Z-32B/BL1 to sidetrack and complete Z-32C. Reason for Sidetrack: Produce Ivishak reservoir Zone 4 Well History: Z-32B/BL1 is a lateral with slotted liner completion in troublesome fault crossings. PPROF in 2002 indicated 95% of oil production is from L1 and very little contribution from B, despite acid job. Z-32B/L1 has no current utility due to high watercut and no way to shut off water downhole. The best utilization of this wellbore is a sidetrack. Scope of Work: The sidetrack plan for the Z-32C well includes the following: pre-rig.operations will include setting a cement retainer at 10,800' MD and squeezing 60 bbls of cement into Z-32B/BL1 laterals and laying 2 bbls of cement above retainer, circulating a 3,600' MD cement plug into the IA and tubing above the production packer by means of Tubing perforations at -10,532' to permanently abandon above and below the Kuparuk formation, cutting the 4-1/2" tubing at approximately 6,200'. The rig will then move in and pull tubing, run a clean out run, and set an EZSV bridge plug in preparation to set the whipstock to exit the casing at-5,200' MD. A 7" intermediate drilling liner will be set at the top of the Sag River and 6-1/8" production hole will be drilled in the Ivishak. Run sliding sleeves and swell packer production liner assembly with liner top packer. Run 3.5" tubing tied into top of production liner top. The well produced at high WORs from a conductive chan- nel. Maximum oil rate was 400 bopd. After producing 270 MBO the well was sidetracked as the Z- 32A. This sidetrack was not completed, as logs indicated a water swept LOC. Predicted perform- ance of the proposed Z-32BL1 is based on that of the high angle Z-22B. The planned Zone 4 multi- lateral completion should increase initial rate, drainage area, and ultimate recovery. Economics of the additional section are robust, and technical risk is considered Iow since this concept has been successfully used at PBU. In addition, the proposed Z-32BL1 will help confirm the viability of Ivishak )roduction for the NW Eileen development.
