Recent events in pattern health have made it necessary to shut in the C sand portion of this well in order to enhance A sand recovery. In May 2010 SL attempted to dummy off the C selective but were unable to due to a broken latch in the station @ 9540'RKB. A caliper run in October of 2017 showed competent tubing on either side of the mandrel for patch setting. This procedure will outline the steps necessary to set a patch across the mandrel at 9540'in an attempt to shut off C sand injection. Yl Risk/Jo* f n, • • i Well known to have schmoo; last encountered by EL on 10/14/17. Steps: RELAY(set patch) 1. Contact Ken Adams or Jeremy Fontenot with Quadco to ensure patch materials are available. 2. MIRU RELAY unit and associated support equipment. 3. RIH with lower PIIP packer and tie into jewelry. Set PIIP mid element @ 9553'RKB. POOH 4. MU and RIH with 13.48'spacer pipe and upper PIIP. Stab into lower PIIP and set upper packer. Upper packer set depth 9535' RKB. Patch depth element to element is 18'. 5. POOH. 6. RIH with with PIIP test tool and set in patch. Pressure up tubing to 2500 psi. This will test the integrity of the tubing above the packer as well as the set of the upper PIIP. Troubleshoot test tool and or packer if passing test is not obtained. 7. RDMO. Mr. Tom Maunder Alaska Oil & Gas Commission 333 West 7~` Avenue, Suite 100 Anchorage, AK 99501 ,~ ~ 3 J ~`~'~' Dear Mr. Maunder: Enclosed please find a spreadsheet with a list of wells from the Kuparuk field (KRU). Each of these wells was found to have a void in the conductor. These voids were filled with cement if needed and corrosion inhibitor, engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serves as notification that the treatments took place and meets the requirements of form 10-404, Report of Sundry Operations. The cement was pumped June 30, July 4 and July 20, 2008. The corrosion inhibitor/sealant was pumped June 29, June 30, July10, and July 24, 2008. The attached spreadsheet presents the well name, top of cement depth prior to filling, and volumes used on each conductor. Please call MJ Loveland or Perry Klein at 907-659-7043, if you have any questions. Sincerely, ~ ~ M.J. Loveland ConocoPhillips Well Integrity Projects Supervisor • • ConocoPhillips Alaska Inc. This log was run to assess the condition of the 3.5" tubing with respect to corrosive and mechanical damage. The caliper recordings indicate the 3.5" tubing is in good to fair condition, with a maximum recorded wall penetration of 29% in joint 69 (2,234'). The damage recorded appears in the form of scattered, shallow isolated pitting otten near the makeup and shallow areas of corrosion. No significant areas of cross-sectional wall loss are recorded. Although no significant I.D. restrictions were recorded, an apparent mash below the injection mandrel in station 2 (9,470') restricts the I.D. to 2.77". The procedure will be as follows: 1) A mast truck will be utilized to run the CBL/VDL/GR and Gyro. 2) The rig will be moved on location; the BOPE will be nippled up and tested. 3) Selected intervals will be perforated within the Kuparuk formation and reported on subsequent reports. 4) The well will be completed with 3-1/2", 9.2#/ft, J-55, BTC tubing. A 13-5/8", 5000 psi, SRRA BOP stack will be used on well work. The BOP equipment will be pressure tested weekly and operationally tested each trip. A non-freezing fluid will be left in all uncemented annuli within the permafrost interval. A 5000 psi WP wireline lubricator will be used and tested on all wireline work. J. B. Kewin Area 'Drilling Engineer ARCO Alaska, Inc. P. O. Box 100360 Anchorage, Alaska 99510- Dear Hr. Kewin: The referenced application was received on October 31, 1983 and stated a deeper surface casing depth in the referenced wells would allow for better isolation of the Uest Sak Sands, the potentially productive sands would be better protected by cement and the sands can be safetly penetrated using a 9'.8 ppg drilling fluid and a flow diverter stack, on the conductor casing. It was further stated that several wells drilled from the 2Z, 2X, and 2C pads have been safely drilled ~ith a deeper surface casing depth than allowed by Conservation Order No. 173. The Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission hereby authorizes the drilling of the referenced wells to a deoth of 3200 feet true vertical depth before setting surface c~ming pursuant to Rule 3 of Conservation Order No. 190.
