Liz,
I don't recall giving them this direction however for this instance, we will accept the combined flaring for start-up. In the
future, events will need to be delineated with start and stop times and the specific dates.
Thanx for chasing this down,
Victoria

Subject: Flaring for Point Thomson for April 2016
Hi Victoria,
Per email chain below and submitted flaring report, it appears the Production Engineer at Exxon received direction from
somebody at AOGCC regarding combining the reporting for start-up flaring events. I know we just discussed this, but in
light of Candice's response, is it permissible for start-up or would you prefer to see each event separated?

Following up yesterday's communication: the Point Thomson flare event outlined below ceased around
11pm last night. Flared gas was at the lower end of estimates, approximately 230MMscf in total, which
will be documented on the October 10-422 form.

Subject: ExxonMobil Point Thomson - Flare Event Notification: 10/29 - 10/31
Victoria,
Further to our conversation today, a flaring event commenced at Point Thomson on 10/29 due to
shutdown of both gas injection compressors. Production to flare is continuing in order to complete a
regulatory required pig run on a pipeline that is supplied in part by Point Thomson condensate. The
pipeline is not operated by ExxonMobil, however mandatory smart pigging was delayed by the operator
of the pipeline pending stable production from Point Thomson.
It is anticipated that flaring will continue until the evening of 10/31 with a total estimated volume of
approximately 350MMscf. Once the pig is received at Endicott, Point Thomson will immediately cease
flaring and associated production. All flare volumes will be reported to AOGCC on the 10-422 monthly
gas disposition report.
