In follow-up, we had an event at FS1 at 2:23 am this morning. The low pressure gas compressor, 1803, tripped offline due to an electrical problem with the UPS system. The parallel train's low pressure gas compressor is unavailable due to ongoing planned maintenance. The trip of 1803 caused FS1 to flare all low pressure system (LPS) gas since 2:23 am this morning, 5/17/18. Exact volumes will be provided by our site specialist at the conclusion of the event. The flaring event is ongoing as of 0950 am this morning, however Operations has notified me that they are preparing for restart imminently. As we discussed, if this event continues beyond today, BPXA will submit an application for AOGCC to recognize the flaring activity as necessary for facility operations, repairs or upgrades, and not waste, under 20 AAC 25.235(d).
