Submit a well schematic diagram with each 10-407 well completion report and 10-404 well sundry report when the downhole well design is changed. ITEM 1a: Classification of Service Wells: Gas Injection, Water Injection, Water-Alternating-Gas Injection, Salt Water Disposal, Water Supply for Injection, Observation, or Other. Multiple completion is defined as a well producing from more than one pool with production from each pool completely segregated. Each segregated pool is a completion. ITEM 4b: TPI (Top of Producing Interval). ITEM 8: The Kelly Bushing and Ground Level elevation in feet above mean sea level. Use same as reference for depth measurements given in other spaces on this form and in any attachments. ITEM 13: The API number reported to AOGCC must be 14 digits (ex: 50-029-20123-00-00). ITEM 20: Report true vertical thickness of permafrost in Box 20. Provide MD and TVD for the top and base of permafrost in Box 28. ITEM 22: Attached supplemental records for this well should show the details of any mutiple stage cementing and the location of the cementing tool. ITEM 23: If this well is completed for separate production from more than one interval (multiple completion), so state in item 1, and in item 23 show the producing intervals for only the interval reported in item 26. (Submit a separate form for each additional interval to be separately produced, showing the data pertinent to such interval). ITEM 26: Method of Operation: Flowing, Gas Lift, Rod Pump, Hydraulic Pump, Submersible, Water Injection, Gas Injection, Shut-In, or Other (explain). ITEM 27: Provide a listing of intervals cored and the corresponding formations, and a brief description in this box. Submit detailed description and analytical laboratory information required by 20 AAC 25.071. Sundry approval is requested for Prudhoe well 18-24AL2. The pazent wellbore, 18-24 was drilled as a rig sidetrack in May 1995 with a slotted liner completion. The well produced very lift a oil and a second slotted liner leg (18-24AL1) was drilled with coil in October 1995. This additional leg restored the well to full-time status for a year and a half, followed by almost 2 yeazs of cycling. In May 1999, an IBP, sand and to its current location. Although the well was named 18-24AL2, there is only one leg currently open and it is not possible to return to the parent wellbores. 18-24AL2 has 775' of Z1A perfs open, and required gas lift to flow for the first 2 years of production. After 3-1/2 yeazs of full-time production, the well was choked back in an effort to control the GOR and then monthly hot oil treatments were begun to try to boost the rate. The effect of choking back this well was a negligible impact on gas rate paired with an immediate 200+ bopd oil rate impact. Ultimately, the higher backpressure associated with the lower choke setting dropped the oil rate to an average of less than 400 bopd, and finally the well would no longer produce liquids. After being shut in for almost 3 years for no flow, aloes-pressure test was performed that brought in about 200bopd. This test demonstrated the well's sensitivity to choke setting but was not a high enough rate to keep in competitive with the current GPB well stock. Mechanically the well is in sound condition. It passed it's pressure testing (MITIA and MITOA) and had a caliper run in April 2008. The caliper showed the tubing to be in very good condition with no significant areas of wall penetration or cross-sectional loss noted. The 5-1/2" liner is in slightly worse condition with 40-50% penetrations noted in 5 joints. The liner is still in sufficient condition to sidetrack. 18-24A has been shut in for almost 3 years due to lack of fluid production. Although aloes-pressure, open choke test showed the well to be capable of producing 200+ bopd, that rate is not sufficient for the well to be competitive with the current GPB well stock. The following describes work planned and is submitted as an attachment to Form 10-403. A schematic diagram of the proposed sidetrack is attached for reference. Pre-Rig Work: 1. MIT-IA, and OA. 2. Item 1: Classification of Service Wells: Gas injection, water injection, steam injection, air injection, salt water disposal, water supply for injection, observation, injection for in-situ combustion. Item 5: Indicate which elevation is used as reference (where not otherwise shown) for depth measurements given in other spaces on this form and in any attachments. Item 16 and 24: If this well is completed for separate production from more than one interval (multiple completion), so state in item 16, and in item 24 show the producing intervals for only the interval reported in item 27. Submit a separate form for each additional interval to be separately produced, showing the data pertinent to such interval. Item 21: Indicate whether from ground level (GL) or other elevation (DF, KB, etc.). Item 23: Attached supplemental records for this well should show the details of any multiple stage cement- ing and the location of the cementing tool. Item 27: Method of Operation: Flowing, Gas Lift, Rod Pump, Hydraulic Pump, Submersible, Water In- jection, Gas Injection, Shut-in, Other-explain. Item 28: If no cores taken, indicate "none".
