These voids were filled with corrosion inhibitor, engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serves as notification that the treatments took place and meets the requirements of form 10-404, Report of Sundry Operations. The cement was pumped November 25th 2007 & March 21 2009, the corrosion inhibitor/sealant was pumped July 6th, 7th, 8th 2010. The attached spreadsheet presents the well name, top of cement depth prior to filling, and volumes used on each conductor. Please call Perry Klein or MJ Loveland at 907-659-7043, if you have any questions. Sincerely, Perry Klein ConocoPhillips Well Integrity Projects Supervisor s s ConocoPhillips Alaska Inc. On January 2, 1983~ Kuparuk River Unit Well 1E-29 was stimulated with 90 bbls of 14% HCl through coiled tubing. All surface lines and BOP's were pressure tested to 4000 psig. The maximum coiled tubing pressure observed was 4000 psig and the maximum tubing pressure was 850 psig. 177 MCF of nitrogen were injected via the coiled tubing to aid in cleanup. Following the cleanup period the well was switched to the CPF. The post-acid well test showed this well producing 1000 BOPD as compared to the pre-acid rate of 750 BOPD. 14. ARCO Alaska, Inc. proposes to acidize Kuparuk River Unit Well 1E-29 through coiled tubing to improve the well's productivity. The initial production test on this wel 1 indicated a high skin factor and a corresponding low flow efficiency. Other Kuparuk wells with similar characteristics have shown marked improvements following acid treatments. The treatment remover addit to 4000 psig. just below t perforations 4000 psig and the Following the acid coiled tubing and aid will consist of 3780 gals of 12% HCl with mud and silt ives. The coiled tubing unit BOP's will be pressure tested The end of the coiled tubing will be positioned initially he lowermost perforations and then pulled up across the as the acid is pumped. Pump pressure will be limited to tubing pressure will be limited to 1500 psig. treatment, nitrogen will be injected through the the cleanup. During cleanup the well will be produced to tanks on location. the cleanup the well will be produced to CPF1. Following A full production test (pressure buildup and drawdown) will be performed on this well to evaluate the effects of the treatment. Expected start date' December 4; 1982, ,Su~sequent%~or~ , 14. Selected intervals will be logged. A 20", 2000 psi annular diverter will be installed on the 16" conductor while drilling the surface hole. A 13-5/8", 5000 psi, RSRRA BOPE stack will be installed on the 10-3/4" surface pipe. It will be tested upon installation and weekly thereafter. Test pressure will be 3000 psig (1800 psi for annular). Maximum expected surface pressure is 2597 psig. Pressure calculations are based on current reservoir pressure. Surface pressure calculated with unexpanded gas bubble at surface including temperature effects. The well will be completed with 3-1/2", 9..2# J-55 buttress tbg. Non-freezing fluids will be left in uncemented annuli through the permafrost interval. Selected intervals will be perforated within the Kuparuk formation and reported on subsequent reports. A downhole safety valve will be installed and tested upon completion of the job. · 23. This distance was calculated using the gyro multi-shot survey on 1E-lA and assuming that Well 1E-29 will be drilled verticallY to its kick-off depth of 3800'. Well 1E-lA has an ellipse of uncertainty of 76' across its major axis at the depth at which the crossing occurs. Well 1E-29 will have a cone of uncer- tainty 14' in diameter at the depth of interest. The areas of uncertainty for the two wells will therefore overlap by 4'. Because the areas of uncertainty in the directional measurements overlap by 4', ARCO proposes that the following procedures be used to drill Well 1E-29: 1. As the 13-1/2" surface hole is drilled vertically to 1937', single shot surveys will be taken to ensure that the hole has 'not deviated in the wrong direction. 2. The first dull bit will be pulled between 1000' and 1500'. At this point, a jetting assembly will be run to impart a small angle (3°+) in a westerly direction. This should ensure a safe crossing with Well 1E-lA. 3. Well 1E-lA will be shut-in if calculations show that a crossing of 45' or less is to occur. This distance cor- responds to the intersection of the areas of uncertainty. Upon shutting in 1E-lA, casing and tubing pressures would be monitored until a safe crossing is evident. In addition to the above precautions, the on-site rig personnel and supervi- sors will continuously monitor all parameters as the interval of interest is drilled.
