We are not sure if it was the cord connecting the chromatograph to the Iris computer or if it is a problem with the chromatograph itself. During the surface section casing run the chromatograph and cord were switched out and no problems have been experienced since. Recommendations: Innovations and/or cost savings: Surface section was completed with no major issues. Weight on bit tracked better than normal after checking the "Use 3rd Party WOB" box under the WOB configurations in the 'Configure and Monitor Rig Floor' window. Difficulties experienced: Use the "WOB from 3rd party" options for upcoming wells. After well is complete looking into getting new cord sent out for the chromatograph to find out if that solves the problem with "noise". If not the old chromatograph should be sent to town and a new backup should be sent to location. The canrig computer did freeze towards the beginning of the section and was fixed by closing out the RigWatch program and restarting it. The bit depth got thrown off a few times during connections. Recommendations: Innovations and/or cost savings: Intermediate section was completed with no major problems. The gas chromatograph was switched out after surface casing was cemented and functioned well. Difficulties experienced: Compare bit depth with the pipe tally during each connection to make sure it stays on track. N/A Surface Data Logging After Action Review WELL NAME:LOCATION:North Slope OPERATOR:AREA:Spy Island SPERRY JOB:STATE:Alaska RIG:Doyon 15 HOLE SECTION:Production EMPLOYEE NAME:DATE: Sperry Drilling Confidential Document v 3.0 ENI Petroleum AK-AM-0900577139 Paul Kalenuik 25-Jul-2013 SP36-W5 What went as, or better than, planned: During the drilling of the production run, we had and electrical issue with the cord on the Workstation computer. The connection between the computer and the cord had a gap and there was a short. We disconnected the cord and replace it. That solved the issue and it has been operating fine ever since. Recommendations: Innovations and/or cost savings: This section was completed with no major issues. Can Rig tracked better than normal. We experiencede no failures from Can Rig. Depth tracked better than expected also. The bore tracked within a tenth of a foot to one foot with the Wits data we recieved from SLB. Difficulties experienced: Provide or install a monitor on the rig floor so that our drilling parameters can be tracked by them. Very often the drilling depth that is on the Can Rig monitor is different from the depth that SLB and Insite is showing. This would allow for more acurate tracking of depth for all parties. Chromatograph data was lost from roughly 18200' MD to 19000' MD. Recommendations: Innovations and/or cost savings: Production section, L1, was completed with no major issues. Can Rig tracked better than normal. We experienced no failures from Can Rig. Depth tracked better than expected also. Difficulties experienced: Check power connections to gas equipment and make sure the 8900 Chromatograph within Insite is always running.
