From: Leah Parkhill CTD Engineer Obp Date: May 29,2007 Re: E-19B Sundry Approval Sundry Approval is requested for E-19B E-19A was a horizontal sidetrack drilled in 1995 with 759' o~erforations. After only a few months of production the well reached marginal GOR. A gas entry log was run on 9/95 identifying gas entry at 12,550'- an area previously identified as faulted. A straddle was set in an attempt to isolate the gas producing section of perforations from the rest of the well. A PPROF was run in 8/96 which indicated the lower straddle packer was leaking and the perfs below the straddle didn't contribute to the wells production. An IBP was then set in 1/97 to shut off gas production. After shutting off the toe of the well, E-19 A had trouble flowing. As the well got colder, asphaltine and paraffin problems developed. From 1998 to 2000 several jobs (ROTS, brush and flushes, tbg washes) and PBGL from E-37 was installed in an attempt to mitigate the asphaltine/parafin issue. In 2002 the decision was made to pull the IBP and return to the toe of the well. After removing the IBP and POP'ing the well, the GOR was 75,000 showing no healing had occurred in the toe section of the well. A WRP was subsequently reset. In early 2004, 50' of Zone 1B was perforated in an attempt to bring the well back online. An additional 25' of Zone 2B end of life perforations were added to the well in 1/06 with no increase in production. Currently E-19A is cycled on when excess gas capacity is available. The well's last cycle was after an 8 month SI. REASON FOR SIDETRACK: E-19A currently has verv low rates and a high GOR therefore receiving very little on-time. The "end oflife" perfs shot in Zone 2B in 1/06 have provided minimal value. From analysis of a December 2003 Neutron Log, it has been interpreted that the GOC is ~30' from the top set of perforations. The toe of the well has been tested and determined to be high gas. The well currently provides minimal value to the field. The proposed plan for E-19B is to drill a through tubing sidetrack with the SLB/Nordic 1 Coiled Tubing Drilling rig on or around July 1.2007. The existing perforations will be isolated by a Packer WhiPsto~s the primary cement job. The sidetrack, E-19B, will exit the existing 4.5" liner and kick off in Z2 and land in one Zl . The following describes work planned and is submitted as an attachment to Form 10-403. A schematic diagram of the proposed sidetrack is attached for reference. £-\S~ Pre-Rig Work: (scheduled to begin on June 15,2007) 1. 0 Passed tubing caliper inspection 2. 0 Passed MIT-IA, -OA 3. 0 Passed PPPOT-IC, -T.
