A fish was left in the well at 9758' MD, 8554' TVD. A EZSV plug was set at 9350' MD and was press~u, re tested to 3000 PSI, then drill pipe was stung into EZSV and 15,000 r~~.~f weight was applied to the plug. After pressure test and weight test was made, 77 barrels of cement was squeezed below the retainer, an adequate amount to fill from the top of the fish to the retainer; pulled out of retainer and spotted 15 bbls of cement above the retainer, an adequate amount to fill to 9200' (150'). After four hours, the plug was tested to 3000 PSI, ok. A master valve and back pressure valve were installed at the surface. After drilling to 9970' MD with mud losses ranging from 1-6 BPM, the lost circulation rate increased to 4-5 BPM. A lost circulation material (LCM) pill was spotted across the loss zone and the drill string was pulled into the 9- 5/8" casing at 9437' MD. 2. While tripping back to TD to spot a second LCM pill, fill was encountered at 9951' MD, while picking up the kelly to wash to bottom the drill string stuck. 3. After jardng without success, the drill string was backed off at 9758' MD. 4. A jarring assembly was screwed into the fish. This jarring operation was also unsuccessful. The jarring assembly was backed off and recovered. 5. An EZSV cement retainer was set at 9350' MD and pressure tested to 3000 psi. 6. The well was plugged by squeezing 300 sx Class 'G' cement below the retainer. 7. After unstinging from the retainer, 75 sx of cement was dumped on top of the retainer. 8. The top 2000' of hole was displaced to a non freezing fluid. 9. The 13-3/8"x9-5/8" annulus was down squeezed with 146 bbls of dry crude. 10. The BOPE was nippled down. A 13-5/8" 5000 psi dry hole tree was nippled up and tested to 1500 psi. 11. The rig (Doyon #9) was moved to PBU DS 18-27. Kickoff well at a 1.75 degree/100'md build in the 226.52 degree direction to 3681'md/3666'tvd. Set 13 3/8" casing and cement same. Test casing to 2500 psi for 30 minutes. Nipple up BOPs and test same to 5000 psi. Pick up 12 1/4" BHA and drill 10' of new hole and pedorm leakoff test. Continue drilling 12 1/4" hole while building 1.75 degrees/100'md in the 226.52 degree direction to 4670'md/4554'tvd. At this depth, continue drilling tangent section of 34.48 degree to 2nd KOP of 8279'md/7528'tvd. KOP well at 2.0 degrees/100'md in the 226.52 degree direction to the casing point of 9437'md/8326'tvd. Set 9 5/8" casing and cement same. PU 8 1/2" BHA and test casing to 3000 psi. Drill 10' of new hole and perform formation integrity test to 10 ppg EMW. Continue drilling 8 1/2" hole build section at 2.0 degrees/100'md in the 226.52 degree direction to EOB of and casing point of 11055'md/8771 'tvd while logging formation with MWD tools. Final angle at this depth is 90 degrees. Set 7" liner and cement same. PU 6" BHA and clean out 7" liner; test to 3000 psi for 30 minutes. Drill 6" hole to TD of 12055'md/8771'tvd in the 226.52 degree direction. Run and set 4 1/2" slotted liner and production packer. Circulate well to brine. Run 4 1/2 x 3 1/2" or 3 1/2" tubing string. Freeze protect well. NU tree and test to 3000 psi. Release rig. DS18-29 Operations Summary-State Permit CKH NOTES: The annulus will be left with a non-freezing fluid during any extended period.
