During process upset in the oil and gas systems the HP compressor C-
33012 and LP compressor C-32012 tripped off line due to a high level
in the 1st stage compressor suction scrubber. The abnormal condition
was caused by an elevated liquid surge from drill site production line
resulting in carry over into the scrubber. Note: Total gas volume flared
estimated based on previous event on 08/24, MTR-35012
malfunctioned during event.
Foam inhibition rates were increased, production line
slugging components were adjusted to help minimize and
mitigate a subsequent event of this magnitude. MTR-33012
instrumentation re-calibrating meter.
