G-11A is a November 1993 sidetrack completed in Z1B with slotted liner. This was a rig sidetrack and new 3-1/2" L80 tubing. was run in 1993. Over 1300' of good Z1B was drilled horizontally and a 4-1/2" horizontal liner was run. No HOT was observed but was prognosed at 8960' which is just below the horizontal. The well came on line in late 1993 at 2000 BOPD at 3000 GOR. The GOR stayed flat until mid 1995 when it began to steadily rise. The rate of GOR rise slowed in late 1996 and remained slowly rising until present. A calliper was run in June '03 that showed reasonable tubing besides a single hole at 4626'. The decision was made to run a patch based on the calliper. It was set but it failed to pass a reassure test. A memory LDL was run which showed that the patch was leaking and there were other minor anomalies below the patch that could be additional leaks. To restore tubing integrity a tubing patch was set across the holes hole at 4613'-4646' and finally a "slick stick" was run utilizing the existing bottom packer to extend the tubing patch to 60'. REASON FOR SIDETRACK: G-11A is a high GOR well due to lack of oil. With a slotted liner there is no additional wellwork to lower the GOR. The well shows little healing between production cycles and has a very low on-time. Pre-Rig Work: The pre CTD work is slated to begin on March 1, 2008. 1. O Passed MIT-IA, -OA Done 1/1/08 2. April 24. 2001: I traveled to BPXs G Pad and witnessed the one-month retest of the safety valve systems. As the attached AOGCC Safety Valve System Test Report indicates I witnessed the testing of 16 wells and' 32 components with no failures. The surface safety valve on well G-O3Aclosed rather slowly but passed its pressure test. The wing valve on wells G-16 and G-18A had very slow leaks but did not prohibit a valid test of the surface safety valve.WeIlG-21whichfaiJedthe previous months testdue .toß frozen pilot, has the new style insulation box in place and functioned properly. Merv liddelow performed the testing today; he demonstrated good test procedures and was a pleasure to work with. A walk through inspection of the well houses on this pad was performed during the SVS testing with no problems noted. Well G-14A which was shut in at this time and not tested was found to have the new style insulation box on the pilot. This should fix the problems found on previous tests.
