Test BOPE 200/3500 psi. March 3 11:30 Chip Alvord 265-6120 ARCO did pre-rig abandonment on 1R-22. They planned go in with coil and set an ezsv and squeeze cement below that before rig came out. After they set ezsv, they tried to establish injection but did not pump cmt below the ezsv. When rig came out, after they cut and pulled tubing, they set a bridge plug above the 3.5" ezsv in 7 inch casing. They tested plug to 3600 PSI, then did the sidetrack. You'll note towards the end of the report (20:50hrs) an attempted injectivity test down the tubing which pressured up to 2500psi without taking any fluid. The conclusion was made at this point that the inability to pump into the formation down the production tubing would likely make squeezing cement through a full spool 1-1/2" coil into the formation unsuccessful. Ohi-i_s[en~u, SUBMIT IN TRIPLICATE KRU 1R-22 SUNDRY OBJECTIVE P & A WELL FOR SIDETRACK OPERATIONS (reference attached plugback schematic) CURRENT WELLBORE STATUS: 1 R-22 was drilled and completed in October 1991 as a 3-1/2" single completion producing from the Cl-Sand. The Cl-Sand is the only productive interval in this fault block with the C3/C4 shaled out and the A-Sand being wet. The 1R-22 well has been a poor producer since completion and it is thought that the Iow productivity is caused by its close proximity to the downthrown side of a large throw (150' +) north-south trending fault. Several, unsuccessful, stimulation treatments have been performed on the Cl-Sand in the attempt to improve the production from this wellbore. 1R-22 has had a history of freezing off due to Iow production rates and is only producing intermittently, mainly during the summer months. 1R-22 is currently shut-in for the winter pending sidetrack. Therefore, the well will be P&A'd by setting a cement retainer in the 3-1/2" tubing tail below the production packer and down-squeezing cement into the open perfs as noted on the plugback schematic. P&A WORK (Pre-Rig): 1. RU slickline unit. RIH and dummy off all GLM's. Pressure test 7" casing to 3500 psi for 30 min (chart test). 2. RU pump truck. Perform injectivity test for upcoming CTU squeeze, by bullheading +/- 15 bbls of diesel down tubing into perforations. Record pressure and pump rate. RU CTU. RIH and establish injection rate into perforations. Record breakdown pressure and rate. Note final injection rate and pressure. Tie-in CTU depth with RKB depth and flag coil. RIH with cement retainer on CTU and set retainer at +/-10,119' MD RKB (middle of 10' x 3-1/2" pup joint in tubing tail below Baker 'HB' retrievable packer). 4. Squeeze 23 bbls of 15.8 ppg Class G cement below retainer (13.2 bbl for the 3-1/2" and 7" volume below the retainer down to top of fill at 10,479' MD RKB + 9.8 bbls into perfs). If needed, use a spotting valve placed immediately above the retainer to displace the cement down coil to desired distance above top of retainer. Close valve and pump cement squeeze below retainer into perfs. Unsting from retainer and circulate any excess cement from well bore. Leave well shut-in with initial tubing pressure on wellhead. RDMO CTU. 5. Bleed annulus pressure to 0 psi. Pressure test tubing above inflatable retainer to 2500 psi for 30 min (chart test). Slowly bleed tubing pressure to 0 psi and monitor pressure for build-up. 6. RU slickline unit. RIH and pull 1-1/2" DV from bottom GLM at 10,011' MD RKB, leaving an open pocket. 7. RU E-line unit. RIH and cut tubing at +/-10,073' MD RKB (middle of first full joint of 3-1/2" tubing above PBR). 8. Remove well house and scaffolding. The testing commenced at 2:00 pm and was concluded at 4:00 pm. As the attached AOGCC BOP Test Report indicates two gas detectors failed this test. Both failures were corrected on 9/25/91. In summary, I witnessed the BOP test on Pool Rig No. 7 at AAI's KRU 1R-22 well. I was contacted on 9/25/91 by Pool rep Jimmy Greeco and informed that the two gas detector failures had been corrected.
