2024 CRU Reservoir Surveillance Report
1
Alpine Oil Pool Annual Reservoir Surveillance Report
ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc., (CPAI) as Operator and sole working interest owner of the Colville
River Unit (CRU), submits this Alpine Oil Pool Annual Reservoir Surveillance Report as required
for the Alpine Oil Pool Conservation Order 443D, Rule 8. The Alpine Oil Pool includes the Alpine,
Nanuq Kuparuk, Fiord Kuparuk, Fiord Nechelik, and Fiord West Kuparuk Participating Areas
(PAs).
Attachment 1 illustrates the current Colville River Unit boundary, participating areas, and
surface facility pad locations.
Overview, Enhanced Recovery, and Reservoir Management Summary
A total of 198 active development wells have been drilled in the Alpine Oil Pool as of January 1,
2025: 154 in the Alpine PA (80 producers, 74 injectors), 13 in the Nanuq Kuparuk PA (6
producers, 7 injectors), 6 in the Fiord Kuparuk PA (3 producers, 3 injectors), 2 in Fiord West
Kuparuk PA (1 injector and 1 producer), and 23 in the Fiord Nechelik PA (13 producers, 10
injectors). Three disposal wells were previously completed in an undefined pool in the
Sadlerochit Group sediments below the Alpine Oil Pool.
Reservoir management of the Alpine Oil Pool in 2025 will aim to maximize oil rate by: (1)
targeting a pattern level injection/withdrawal ratio of one, (2) managing water alternating gas
(WAG) injection to maximize recovery, (3) updating and ranking workover and peripheral
development opportunities for optimum drilling rig utilization, and (4) identifying well
stimulation candidates. WAG in this document refers to a water-alternating-gas flood using
either a miscible (MWAG) or sub-miscible enriched gas (EWAG). These activities are expected to
partially offset existing field decline.
Future development for 2025 in the Alpine Oil Pool may include additional wells at CD2, CD4, or
CD5 depending on rig usage/optimization. Development plans continue to support an enriched
WAG flood primarily via line-drive horizontal well patterns. Additional drilling targets will be
further matured to compete for rig time and planning work will be carried out accordingly.
Reservoir Voidage Balance and Cumulative Status
Cumulative voidage replacement ratio above 1.0 indicates that appropriate voidage is observed
in the Alpine Oil Pool.

Reservoir Pressures at Datum Map and Summary and Analysis of Reservoir Pressure Surveys
A reservoir pressure survey map is presented in Attachment 2. The 10-412 report of reservoir
pressures is Attachment 3.
The Alpine pool reservoirs are continuously managed to maintain pattern pressures required for
stable production and optimum EOR performance. One hundred and seven static pressure
surveys were performed on Alpine pool wells in 2024. Downhole pressure gauges are installed in
15 Alpine pool production wells. The gauges provide information about flood response and
demonstrate reservoir pressure during shut-in events. Reservoir pressures are also estimated
from simulation models and from inflow performance analyses. Both approaches are calibrated
with reservoir pressure measurements collected from static surveys.

Nanuq Oil Pool Annual Reservoir Surveillance Report
ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc., (CPAI) as Operator and sole working interest owner of the Colville
River Unit (CRU), submits this Nanuq Oil Pool Annual Reservoir Review as required for the Nanuq
Oil Pool Conservation Order 562, Rules 7(f) and 10. The Nanuq Oil Pool includes the Nanuq Nanuq
Participating Area.
Overview, Enhanced Recovery, and Reservoir Management Summary
The Nanuq Oil Pool has been developed primarily from CD4 and includes nine wells in the
Nanuq Nanuq PA (5 producers, 4 injectors) targeting WAG recovery. In 2024, enriched gas was
injected into two injectors (CD4-214, CD4-291).
Additional drilling targets will be further matured to compete for rig time and planning work will
be carried out accordingly.

Qannik Oil Pool Annual Reservoir Surveillance Report
ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc., (CPAI) as Operator and sole working interest owner of the Colville
River Unit (CRU), submits this Qannik Oil Pool Annual Reservoir Review as required for the
Qannik Oil Pool Conservation Order 605A, Rules 6(f) and 9. The Qannik Oil Pool includes the
Qannik and Narwhal Participating Areas (PAs).
Overview, Enhanced Recovery, and Reservoir Management Summary
The Qannik PA has been developed from ten wells (7 producers and 3 injectors). The ongoing
recovery scheme involves waterflood from inboard injection wells supplemented with a natural
gas cap expansion drive from the east. Waterflood response has been observed in the Qannik
zone, and flood surveillance is ongoing as pressure maintenance and enhanced recovery
continue. The Qannik PA was expanded in 2021 to include CD4-499, which is a step out from
existing development at CD2. Additional drilling targets may be considered as rig
optimization/utilization dictates. The Narwhal PA is currently developed through 8 wells: four
producers and four injectors. Future development plans include four producers and two
injectors.
The Qannik PA is currently utilizing waterflood injection only, with additional support from gas
cap expansion from the flanks. The Narwhal PA is currently utilizing water injection only and will
be managed by MWAG in the future. MWAG refers to a water-alternating-gas flood using either
a miscible gas or sub-miscible enriched gas. Significant oil production rate benefits and
increased ultimate recovery estimates have been observed due to enhanced oil recovery
processes.
Reservoir Voidage Balance and Cumulative Status
The tables below summarize average daily injection and production rates, cumulative fluid
volumes, and voidage balance as of January 1, 2025. Voidage replacement in the Qannik PA
reservoir relies on water injection and gas cap expansion from the flanks. Data includes Narwhal
PA production and injection. Narwhal PA activity specific to injectors is also reported in the
ERIO6 Narwhal Pilot Injection Progress Report.
