Dave
The wireline survey was actually a PNL log. As I’m sure you are aware, PNL logs typically require the wellbore to be liquid filled and operations wanted to ensure the liquid level in the tubing was as shallow as possible prior to running
the log.
Feel free to call me if you have additional questions or need more detail around the operation.
Thanks

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Question on February 2022 gas disposition report for Kenai Gas Field
Hi Heather,
The referenced gas disposition report showed two events greater than one hour occurring. The first event description said “Excess venting due to well blow down 33-6X for a wireline survey.” I’ve never heard of having to
blow down a well to do a wireline survey before. Please provide more details about why it was necessary to blow the well down to run wireline.
Thank you,
Dave Roby
