CPAI plans to run a diagnostic leak detect log(LDL)on each well to identify the location of the gas-only leak in order to research potential repair options. The procedure for these LDLs will be similar to that of the nitrogen gas LDLs performed on other Alpine injectors over the last year. As in those cases, it will be necessary to displace the water in the tubing into the formation for the diagnostic log. CPAI intends to do this by injecting nitrogen into each well, approximately twice the volume of the affected tubing. Please let us know if you have any questions or disagree with this plan. CPAI would like to move forward with this work soon—sometime in the week of March 5th Thanks, Travis Smith/Rachel Kautz Well Integrity Supervisor,ConocoPhillips Alaska Inc. The plan was to get a witnessed MITIA today while the AOGCC inspector and DHD were on CD4 to conduct pad testing prior to submitting the AA application, so that we could efficiently align the MIT anniversary test month on the AA with the UIC MIT pad test schedule. The MITIA performed today passed based on the pressure loss criteria. However, I wanted to inform you that the BBLs pumped (9.3)and BBLs returned (5.4)were quite different. He doesn't have any confirmed dates in mind yet. If we were to wait until such a time to coordinate testing with Alpines schedule we would probably need an extension granted from Mr. Regg to allow CD4- 26 and the re-testing of CD4-289,to be allowed to stay online for a longer than normal period of time before testing. CD4-289 has already had its right to witnessed waived and at Mr. Regg's request we are going to re-test it with an inspector on location. Looking at the current Otter and Casa schedules out of Deadhorse to Alpine there is no longer any flights that would get an inspector over to Alpine early enough in the morning, and then leaving late enough in the day, to allow for enough time to ensure that tests can be completed. Unfortunately with Alpine being a remote location on the slope, it has been a challenge for everyone to conduct testing in such a way as to maximize personnel time and efficiency. The flight times and schedules that I have proposed are actually the best option for being able to test CD4-26 and 289 on Friday, but if that is not going to be an option then we request to have an extension granted in writing, indicating that it would be acceptable for us to postpone our testing of CD4-26 and CD4-289, and allow those wells to remain online, until such a time that we could coordinate with Alpines CD1 SVS testing schedule some time in August.
