From:CPF3 Prod Engrs To:Regg, James B (OGC) Cc:NSK Prod Engr Specialist Subject:3R-14 SSSV Status Date:Thursday, February 20, 2025 2:02:12 PM Hi Jim, Doug let me know that you had talked with him regarding 3R-14, and he had asked that I send you an email summarizing what we’ve done so far on the well. 3R-14 SSSV failed to hold pressure during a state-witnessed test on 2/7/2025, resulting in a fix or shut-in date of 2/21/2025. Slickline rigged up on the well on 2/17/2025 and the well has remained shut-in since then. Slickline interventions resulted in a successful exercise of the SSSV on 2/18/2025. Slickline remains on the well swapping out gas lift valves. They intend to perform an additional SSSV closure test before rigging off. They expect to rig off tomorrow or Saturday, which puts us past our original fix or shut-in date of 2/21/2025. My understanding is that since we have demonstrated that the SSSV now functions after slickline intervention, we can return the well to service and will have five days to test the SSSV. Please let me know if this is not the case! Thanks! We will not be pumping cement and won’t require an approved 10-403 and the subsequent 10-401. We were able to get a caliper and identify a spot to set a 2nd whipstock. We originally wanted to place cement to secure the whipstock, but with the Phase 2 and 3 conditions on the slope and vendor personnel shortage we were not able to source a cement crew in a timely manner. In summary thanks again, and we’ll proceed on our original permit. We’ll be sending the sundry and ptd shortly, and if possible could we get a “Verbal” (email)? We will then be able to proceed with the cement pumping once we get the required equipment mobilized. We are currently on 3R-14L1 (PTD 221-112) We have set the whipstock at 8761’ MD Began milling the window, we milled down to 8769’, then the whipstock fell We are currently pulling out of the hole to pick up a caliper to diagnose the 7” casing and window This evening we will decide: Option A: move forward with existing PTD and set a 2nd whipstock set above 1st attempt Option B: set 2nd whipstock pump cement, plugging motherbore will require Sundry and PTD Change from L1 to A (-60 to -01 API) James Ohlinger Staff CTD Engineer 907-265-1102 907-229-3338 C:\Users\aebell\Desktop\December 2021 Data Drop\CPA Data Drop 12242021\2021-12-23_(Run2)_21055_KRU_3R-14_CaliperSurvey_Transmittal.docx DELIVERABLE DISCRIPTION Ticket #Field Well #API #Log Description Log Date 21055 KRU 3R-14 50-029-22268-00 Caliper Survey 23-Dec-21 (Run 2) DELIVERED TO Company & Address DIGITAL FILE # of Copies LOG PRINTS # of Prints CD’s # of Copies 1 AOGCC Attn: Natural Resources Technician 333 W. 7th Ave., Suite 100 Anchorage, Ak. 99501-3539 Delivered By: CPAI Sharefile FTP ______________________________ ______________________________________ Date received Signature PLEASE RETURN COPY VIA EMAIL TO: DIANE.WILLIAMS@READCASEDHOLE.COM READ CASED HOLE,INC., 4141 B STREET,SUITE 308, ANCHORAGE, AK 99503 PHONE: (907)245-8951 E-MAIL :READ-Anchorage@readcasedhole.com WEBSITE :WWW.READCASEDHOLE.COM 37' (6HW ________________________________________ Signatttttttttttttttttturuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuue 12/27/2021 By Abby Bell at 8:51 am, Dec 27, 2021 C:\Users\aebell\Desktop\December 2021 Data Drop\CPA Data Drop 12172021\2021-12-15_15818_KRU_3R-14_CaliperSurvey_Transmittal.docx DELIVERABLE DISCRIPTION Ticket #Field Well #API #Log Description Log Date 15818 KRU 3R-14 50-029-22268-00 Caliper Survey 15-Dec-21 DELIVERED TO Company & Address DIGITAL FILE # of Copies LOG PRINTS # of Prints CD’s # of Copies 1 AOGCC Attn: Natural Resources Technician 333 W. 7th Ave., Suite 100 Anchorage, Ak. 99501-3539 Delivered By: CPAI Sharefile FTP ______________________________ ______________________________________ Date received Signature PLEASE RETURN COPY VIA EMAIL TO: DIANE.WILLIAMS@READCASEDHOLE.COM READ CASED HOLE,INC., 4141 B STREET,SUITE 308, ANCHORAGE, AK 99503 PHONE: (907)245-8951 E-MAIL :READ-Anchorage@readcasedhole.com WEBSITE :WWW.READCASEDHOLE.COM _______________________________________ Signaturuuuuuuuuruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuue 12/17/2021 37' (6HW By Abby Bell at 12:33 pm, Dec 17, 2021 STATE OF ALASKA RECEIVED • AL/. Each of these wells was found to have a void in the conductor. These voids were filled with cement if needed and corrosion inhibitor, engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space. As per previous. agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serves as notification that the treatments took place and meets the requirements of form 10-404, Report of Sundry Operations. The cement was pumped starting March 13, 2008 and the corrosion inhibitor/sealant was pumped starting November 10, 2008. The attached spreadsheet presents the well name, top of cement depth prior to filling, and volumes used on each conductor. This log was run to assess the condition of the tubing with respect to internal corrosive and mechanical damage. The caliper recordings indicate that the 3.5" tubing logged is in good condition, with a maximum recorded penetration of 29% ~ 8,254', and only one other joint showing penetrations in excess of 20°~6 wall thickness. The damage recorded appears mostly in the form of Isolated Pitting. There are no areas of significant Cross Sectional Wall loss or I.D. restriction recorded throughout the tubing. This is the second PDS caliper of this well. This is the first PDS log of the entire tubing string in this well. Cross-sectional drawings of the most significant events recorded are included in this report. The distribution of maximum recorded penetrations is illustrated in the Body Region Analysis Page of this report. A graph illustrating the correlation of recorded damage to borehole profile is included in this report. MAXIMUM RECORDED WALL PENETRATIONS Isolated Pitting (29°r6) Jt. 263 ~ 8,254 ft. Maximum anticipated surface pressure is calculated using a surface casing leak-off of 13.5 ppg EMW and a gas gradient of 0.11 psi/ft. This shows that formation breakdown would occur before a surface pressure of 2435 psi could be reached. Therefore, ARCO Alaska, Inc. will test the BOP equipment to 3000 psi. The nearest well to 3R-14 is 3R-15. As designed, the minimum distance between the two wells would be 25' @ 120' MD. The wells would diverge from that point. Incidental fluids developed from ddlling operations will be hauled to the nearest permitted disposal well or will be pumped down the surface/production casing annulus of the last well drilled. That annulus will be left with a non-freezing fluid during any extended shut down (> 4hr) in pumping operations. The annulus will be sealed with 175 sx of cement followed by arctic pack upon completion of fluid pumping. *Spud mud should be adjusted to a FV between 100-120 sec/qt to drill gravel beds.
