DOC Surface Abandonment Tarn #3 PTD # 97-24 Friday March 1,4,1996: I traveled to ARCOs Tarn #3 location to inspect the casing cut off and abandonment of this well. The conductor and surface casing had been cut off at 5' below ground level and both were full of cement. A plate was welded over the casing with, operator name, well # and lease # bead welded to it. Gravel will be placed in the cellar and the location will need to be inspected this summer to check for subsidence. Clean up operations were under way at the time of this inspection and only minor amounts of trash remained. SUMMARY: i inspected the casing cut off depth, cement tops and the P&A marker plate on ARCOs Tarn #3 exploration well.
