IN TRODU CT ION
Composite 180' samples from 80-10,944' were analyzed.
By using composite samples of 180', the faunal content of each sample is
so diluted that very few specimens represent the individual species. The
top of the ages could be in error by 360' and ages present in t~in
intervals are probably missed completely.

Remarks: This interval is barren of microfossils.

Age: Late Cretaceous.

Remarks: The . faunal assemblage consists of
Hap.1 ophra~lmoi des excavata H. albertensis
Verneuil inoides fischeri, an~ 'Bathys-(phon varians.

Remarks: The rare occurrences of Haplophragmoides
rota and H. excavata are assumed to be caved.

subarctic~ Haplophra~moides coronis, H. 'd'uoflatis,
H. .gooden'oughensis,' H. inflatigrandis~ Lenticulina
~uensteri and TrochammTna .septagonalis.
Age: Possibly Late Jurassic.
Paleoenvironment' Marine, probably middle to outer

Remarks: The faunal assemblage consists of
Ammobaculites alaskensis, Ammodiscus cheradospiri, s,
Leni~iculina vol~ensis, 'Marginulinap~is cephalotes,
Oolina apiculata, and Rectoglandulina hamcilis.
Age' Possibly Oxfordian/Callovian.
Paleoenvironment: Open marine, probably middle to
outer neritic.
Remarks: The faunal assemblage consists of
'~mmobaculite cf A. cobbani, A. barrowensis, Dental ina
exilis,' GloOuli~a topagorukensis, Haplophra~moides'
canui, Lenticulina ' audax Recurvoides turbinatus.
A~modiscus asperus, Astacolus dubius, Citnarina
ent;~poma, tus., Marginul ihOpsis phragmites, Nodosaria
aphelol..ocul a, Reophax 1 iassica and Len'l~i'cul ina'
quenstedi. This fauna has been observed in Oxfordian
- Callovian strata.
