Isolation of the existing perfs in F-47A will be with a CIBP set in the existing 2-7/8" liner and with the primary cement job of the F-47B completion. WELL HISTORY/CURRENT STATUS: F-47A was a coil sidetrack well, completed in Apri12000. The well was completed with 819' of Z1B perfs toward the toe of the well. The well came on strong and production was stable for the first two months. Production eventually began to drop over the next 7 months. F-47A was first shut-in for high GOR after 10 months of production in January 2001. The well cycled effectively for two years until 2003 at which time new perforations were required. Following the initial two years of successful cycle behavior in 2001 and 2002, adperf and gas shutoff programs were executed in 2003, 2006, 2008 and 2009 each moving the producing interval higher up the wellbore. Each Adperf/GSO was successful, accessing new Z1B sands with good initial production followed by good cycling. The final Adperf/GSO program executed was in November 2009 as an End- of-Life program and was successful. WELL INTEGRITY: The well has maintained integrity throughout its lifetime. A PDS Caliper was run in March 2010, indicating the tubing and upper production liner in good to fair condition, with a maximum wall penetration of 35%. The well passed both MTT-OA and MIT-IA tests conducted on the 4-1/2" tubing in Apri12010. REASON FOR SIDETRACK: F-47A has been a good well. We have successfully executed four Adperf/GSO programs since 2003. Five months after the November 2009 EOL Adperf/GSO, the well is now again above marginal GOR's and will begin to cycle. We anticipate this well will cycle into the summer. On time is forecast to be 0% after August 2010 and therefore is a good candidate for a coil sidetrack. The proposed plan for F-47B is to drill a thru-tubing sidetrack with the Nordic 1 Coiled Tubing Drilling rig on or around June 25, 2010. The existing perforations will be isolated by a CIBP that will be set pre-rig, as well as by the primary cement job. The sidetrack, F-47B, will exit the existing 4.5" liner and kick off in Z2 and land in Z1. The following describes work planned and is submitted as an attachment to Form 10-403. A schematic diagram of the proposed sidetrack is attached for reference. / ~~ :.e X19 ~ ~lr~ ~~ Ci , `i,+ i ~m! ~~Pr ~,q~ y-yp p~a~'DS~"~ S~~C ~?~C~ W G't7~ Gar %~ T ~ ~e~ ti~~~~~~~ ~~t ro ~v~, C ~ gl~~c~(d ~j/~c~ ;'f ,r a~ ~ r~~~ ,~.~ ~~~P P ~ CC~~P~ ~~t' ~E©~"ihrr~~/ 1,,~~°jrT ~ ~~ir ~Xi.3t~%~~ ~c<~~o,.~e ~i //107 ~rrr"7` ~¢/~~, k~~ ~~~~~~3 /a C~h d ~s2~~1-~ ~~ ~1 ~ • Pre-Rig Work: (scheduled to begi ne 10, 2010) 1. Supervisor DATE: December 7, 2000 FROM: Jeff Jones, SUBJECT: Petroleum Inspector Safety Valve Tests Prudhoe Bay Unit BPX / F-Pad Thursday, Decembe. r 7, 2000: I traveled to BPX's F-Pad in the Prudhoe Bay Field to witness Safety Valve System tests. Merv Liddelow, BPX representative in charge of testing, performed the tests in a safe and proficient manner. Of the 28 wells tested, 10 failures were witnessed. For the most part, frozen contaminants (w. ater) in the block valves upstream of the pilots and in the SSV hydraulic control lines caused the failures. On 12/8/00 Mr; Liddelow indicated to me that aii $¥S failures had been corrected and succesSfully re-tested. The 17.8% SVS failure rate requires a 90-day test cycle for this pad. The AOGCC test report is attached for reference. I: conducted 28 well house inspections concurrent with the SVS tests. Due to recent high winds, several well houses were drifted with snow inside. In addition, SVS hydraulic fluid leaks were noted on wells F-12 and F-13^. Mr. Liddelow indicated that these items would be addressed. No other exceptions were noted. ITEM 5: Indicate which elevation is used as reference (where not otherwise shown) for depth measurements given in other spaces on this form and in any attachments. ITEM 16 AND 24: If this well is completed for separate production from more than one interval (multiple completion), so state in item 16, and in item 24 show the producing intervals for only the interval reported in item 27. Submit a separate form for each additional interval to be separately produced, showing the data pertinent to such interval. ITEM 21: Indicate whether from ground level (GL) or other elevation (DF, KB, etc.). ITEM 23: Attached supplemental records for this well should show the details of any multiple stage cementing and the location of the cementing tool. ITEM 27: Method of Operation: Flowing, Gas Lift, Rod Pump, Hydraulic Pump, Submersible, Water Injection, Gas Injection, Shut-In, Other-explain. ITEM 28: If no cores taken, indicate 'none'. This sidetrack will be conducted in two phases. Phase 1: Set Whipstock at 11,090': Planned for March 20-22, 2000. · A Mechanical Integrity Test will be performed. · A whipstock drift and Kinley caliper will be run. · The well will be killed with seawater followed by 8.7 ppg FIo-Pro. · CTE-Line will be used to set the whipstock at approx. 11,090' MD. Phase 2: Mill Window, Drill and Complete sidetrack: Planned for March 30, 2000. Drilling coil will be used to mill the window, drill and complete the directional hole as per attached plan. Mud Program: · Phase 1' Seawater, 8.7 ppg FIo-Pro. · Phase 2: FIo-Pro (8.6 - 8.7 ppg) Disposal: · No annular injection on this well. · All drilling and completion fluids and all other Class II wastes will go to Grind & Inject. · All Class I wastes will go to Pad 3 for disposal. Casing Program: · 2 7/8", 6.16#, L-80, ST-L liner will be run from TD to approx. 8,885' MD and cemented with approx. 53 bbls. cement to bring cement to approx. 8913' TVDss (8,950' MD). The liner will be pressure tested to 2200 psi and perforated with coiled tubing conveyed guns. Well · · · Control: BOP diagram is attached. Pipe rams, blind rams and the CT pack off will be pressure tested to 400 psi and to 4000 psi. The annular preventer will be tested to 400 psi and 2000 psi. Directional · See attached directional plan · Magnetic and inclination surveys will be taken every 30 ft. No gyro will be run. Logging · A Gamma Ray log will be run over all of the open hole section. · A Memory CNL will be run inside the 2 7/8" liner. Hazards No faults or lost circulation are expected. Res. pressure is normal. Reservoir Pressure Res. pressure is approx. 3473 @ 8900ss.
