Our adopted conventions for assigning API numbers, permit numbers and well names did not spec~caiiy address expired or cancelled permits. This omission has caused some inconsistencies i the treatment of these kinds of applications for permit to drill. Operators have asked us to adopt formal procedures for this class of permit application in order to prevent future database disparities. If a permit expires or is cancelled by an operator, the permit number of the subject permit will remair. unchanged. The API number and in some instances the well name reflect the number of pnaexistinc redrills and or multilaterais in a well. In order to prevent confusing a cancelled or expired permit with an active well or multilateral these case sensitive well identfiers will be changed for expired and cancelled applications for permits to drill. The API number for this cancelled or expired permit is modfied so the eleven and twelfth digits is 9~ The well name for a cancelled or expired permit is modfied with an appended xx. These procedures are an addendum to the API numbering methods described in AOGCC staff memorandum "Multi-lateral (weilbore segment) Drilling Permit Procedures, revised December 29, 1995. AOGCC database has been changed to reflect these changes to this permit. Determine that there is no commercial value at the "SOS" peripheral target. Plug the 8-1/2" hole back to the 7700' MD point for the "S" location ST. RIH with cone bit, kick off plug and establish ST bore. Drill 8-1/2" production hole with MWD DIR to top of K-10 at 11,467' MD. Change over mud system to 6% KCL. Drill 8-1/2" production hole with LWD DIR/GR/DEN/RES~EU to TD at 12,238' MD. Attempt to gather RFT data if requested (via wireline). Run wiper trip (if RFT data attempted). Run and cement 7" L-80/13CR casing. Run 4-1/2" 13CR production tubing with 7"x4-1/2" packer, 4-1/2" SSSV, and 4-1/2"x1" GLMs. Secure well, RDMO. Drilling Hazards/Contingencies · The original reservoir pressure is 4350 psi at 8800' ss. The expected reservoir pressure is 4300 psi at 8800' ss. Abnormally pressured formations are not expected in this well. · Tight hole has been experienced in the lower Sagavanirktok, below the surface casing shoe which were set into the SV4 sand. This has caused stuck pipe incidents and bit/BHA balling Gumbo problems. · Coal stringers in the lower Ugnu have caused stuck pipe. This occurred on P2-25. · No major instances of lost circulation problems have occurred on Pt Mac 2 wells. Disposal · Cuttings Handling: Cuttings should be hauled to the ball mill at CC-2A. Fluid Handling: Haul all drilling and completion fluids and other Class II wastes to CC-2A for injection. Haul all Class I wastes to Pad 3 for disposal.
