I. Supervisor ~t {t(,¢eo FROM: John Crisp, J,[,,, ~. SUBJECT: Petroleum Inspector Safety Valve Tests Prudhoe Bay Unit J Pad November 12~ 2000: I traveled to BP's Prudhoe Bay Field J Pad to witness Safety Valve System tests. Safety Valve tests had been dela~ for 2 days due to blowing snow Phase 3 weather conditions. I met with BP rep. Merv Littlelow & discussed SVS tests on J Pad. Merv & I decided that we could safely test valves as soon as Roads & Pads could clean a path to well houses & skid 52. Well houses had fair amount of snow inside the houses due to the extended blow. Testing was conducted in as safe & efficient manner as conditions would allow. The AOGCC test report is attached for reference. SUMMARY: I witnessed SVS tests on PBU J Pad. 8 wells, 16 components tested. No failures witnessed. 8 Well houses inspected.
