Johnson CTD Engineer Date: February 3, 2003 Re: P&A operations for well F-10A in prep for a CTD sidetrack Well F-10A is scheduled for a through tubing sidetrack with the SLB/Nordic 1 Coiled Tubing Drilling rig. The sidetrack, F-10B, will exit am-of"7"casing from a whipstock and target Zone 2 reserves. This is the second time CTD will sidetrack this well. The existing 2 7/8" liner will be abandoned with a CIBP which coml~etes the P&A. The following describes work planned and is submitted as an attachment to Form 10-403. A schematic diagram of the proposed sidetrack is attached for reference. Pre CTD Summary 1) Shckline -Drift tubing. Pull 2 packoffgas lift mandrels (POGLMs). Set plug in X nipple at 8743' and perform combination MIT of tubing and intermediate case to 2500 psi. Pull plug. Drift 2 7/8" liner down to 9500'. RDMO. 2) Electric line - Set CIBP at 9450' md in the 2 7/8" liner. PT wellbore to 1000 psi. Wellbore f abandonment is complete. 3) Electric line - Chemical cut 2 7/8" liner at 9410' which is free pipe above 2 7/8" liner TOC of 9434'. 4) Service Coil - Latch on to 2 7/8" liner, POOH and lay down liner above chemical cut. Make underream run in 7" casing in whipstock setting area. 5) Electric line - Set 7" whipstock at 9360' md. ~ CTD Sidetrack Summary 1) MIRU CTD rig. 2) Mill window out of 7" liner from whipstock at 9360'. '/' 3) Drill 4 1/8" x 3.75" bicenter openhole sidetrack to -11250' TD with MWD/gamma ray. 4) Run 3 3/16" x 2 7/8" liner completion. Top of liner will be at 8750'. Cement with -27 Bbls cement. 5) RI)MO The pre CTD work is slated to begin on February 15, 2003. Mark O. ITEM 1: Classification of Service Wells: Gas injection, water injection, steam injection, air injection, salt water disposal, water supply for injection, observation, injection for in-situ combustion. ITEM 5: Indicate which elevation is used as reference (where not otherwise shown) for depth measurements given in other spaces on this form and in any attachments. ITEM 16 AND 24: If this well is completed for separate production from more than one interval (multiple completion), so state in item 16, and in item 24 show the producing intervals for only the interval reported in item 27. Submit a separate form for each additional interval to be separately produced, showing the data pertinent to such interval. ITEM 21: Indicate whether from ground level (GL) or other elevation (DF, KB, etc.). ITEM 23: Attached supplemental records for this well should show the details of any multiple stage cementing and the location of the cementing tool. ITEM 27: Method of Operation: Flowing], Gas Lift, Rod Pump, Hydraulic Pump, Submersible, Water Injection, Gas Injection, Shut-In, Other-explain. ITEM 28; If no cores taken, indicate 'none'.' Pump 5 bbls neat Class G cement with 8% bentonite, 20 bbls with 15 ppb aggregate, and 8 bbls neat. Pump 12 bbls below whipstock and lay in remainder. Squeeze to 1000 psi. Held OK. Placed approximately 4 bbls behind pipe. Contaminate the remaining cement with biozan and circulate out, washing jewelry thoroughly. At surface, trap 500 psi on well. LD cement BHA, PU BHA #2 (Baker "one trip" window milling assy). RIH. Tag XN nipple at 8774'. Mill out XN nipple. Mill window from 9667 to 9673. Exit casing and drill 3.7' of open hole. Unable to get deeper. Total depth reached is 9676.7'. POH to inspect BHA. String mill 0.25" under gauge. PU BHA #3. RIH. Tag at various depths from 9671' to 9673'. Attempt to dress window. With motor engaged, had torque in various spots between 9670' and 9672'. Had 5000# to 8000# overpull as high as 9658'. Depths varied as if something was being pulled uphole. Coil life indicated the pipe over the gooseneck had reached 100% fatigue (before this job, fatigue in this interval was only 80%). Discuss options with Well Ops TL and WSA Ops Mngr. Decide to change out pipe as a precautionary measure before continuing. POH. Inspect string mill and PDC bit. Several buttons missing from bit. Radial marks on string mill and motor bit sub indicating stationery rotation against window. Blow down reel with nitrogen. Suspend operations for pipe changeout. Discuss options with CTD Supervisor. Will run back with original Christensen diamond window mill and redressed string mill to open up the window. 05/29/00 MIRU DS CTU #2. Pump 7/8" ball to ensure there were no obstructions in coil. MU Baker mill and motor assembly (BHA #1). RIH and sat down at window. PUH. RIH while pumping at Iow rate and stall at same depth. Correct depth to last TD reached (9672'). Initial assumption made was that this depth is about 1' above the bottom of the window (9673'). PUH to 9665'. RIH milling, motor began working at 9671.2'. Milled hard to 9679.7'. ROP increased from 2 fph to 10 fph. It's felt that the string mill exited the window at this point. Made hole to 9685'. Back-reamed with drag to 9670.4', then pulled normal weight. New assumption is that this depth is the top of the window - 9669' (Note this correction was not made on the TX). Made several trips through window with a final dry trip. Window is clean.
