There continues to be failing IA DDTs; one was most recently performed on 11/13/13. At this point, it is suspected that this communication is due to a gas-only leak. In order to confirm this theory,we would like to return the well to water-only injection for diagnostic monitoring purposes. The 2C water header repair work is near completion and will soon be brought on-line. CPAI requests permission to allow 2C-08 to be on water injection for 30 days of monitoring. Appropriate paperwork will be submitted pending the outcome. Each of these wells was found to have a void in the conductor. These voids were filled with cement if needed and corrosion inhibitor, engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serves as notification that the treatments took place and meets the requirements of form 10-404, Report of Sundry Operations. The cement was pumped September 20~' and October 13~' 2009. The corrosion inhibitor/sealant was pumped October 15~' and 31 St + November 1~ and 2"d 2009. The attached spreadsheet presents the well name, top of cement depth prior to filling, and volumes used on each conductor. Here is í.mother copy of th(-) plot. Odd Th¡]t it gets truncated.. it shows up on my sent ern ail. The pressure event that you can see between the IA and OA is where LRS loaded the IA (July 13th) and then bled it all the way to OA pressure. It doesn't look like the bleed event was captured.. but the loading log is in my notes. DHD will be retesting the well today. Injection well 2C-08 (PTD 183-095) failed a State Witnessed (by Jeff Jones) MITIA today by losing more than 10% of the test pressure in 30 minutes. T/I/O prior to the test was 2500/1300/410. Our immediate action is to trouble shoot the failed MITIA, by pumping it back up and trying it again, it may have failed from a compressed gas head. This well had a larger fill up volume and had to be loaded prior to the test and may just need bumped up. If the diagnostic MIT passes we will invite the inspector to re witness it. Smith Alaska Oil and Gas ConservatiOn Commission 3001 Porcupine Street Anchorage, AK 99501 Dear L. C. Smith: Per our conversation on September 4, 1985, ARCO Alaska, Inc. proposes to convert 110 production wells to water injection to implement fullfield waterflood of the Kuparuk River Unit. As discussed a single "blanket" sundry notice (form 10-403) has been completed for all well proposed to be converted to water injection. Individual subsequent sundry notices will be filed when the actual well conversions occur. As stated in form 10-403, well conversion to water injection will occur in two primary stages. The first stage will convert approximately four wells per dri!lsite to achieve a nine-spot pattern. First stage conversions are expected to be completed by approximately 10/15-/85, prior to waterflood startup. The second stage of conversions will convert approximately four additional wells per drillsite to achieve a line drive pattern. Second stage conversions are expected to be completed mid,December to January 1986. I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to the Commission in working with ARCO Alaska, Inc. in this area. If you have any questions please call me at 263-4212. SinCerely, T. M. Selected intervals will be logged. A 20", 2000 psi annular diverter will be installed on the 16" conductor while drilling the surface hole. A 13-5/8", 5000 psi, RSRRA BOPE stack will be installed on the 10-3/4" surface pipe. It will be tested upon installation and weekly thereafter. Test pressure will be 3000 psig (1800 psi for annular). Expected maximum surface pressure is 2703 psig. Pressure calculations are based on current reservoir pressure data. Surface pressure calculated with unexpanded gas bubble at surface including tempebature effects. The well will be completed with 3-1/2", 9.2#, J-55 buttress tbg. Non-freezing fluids will be left in uncemented annuli through the permafrost interval. Selected intervals will be perforated within the Kuparuk formation and reported on subsequent reports. A downhole safety valve will be installed and tested upon completion of the job. The 10-3/4" surface casing will be set below the West Sak Sand. 23.
