Kuparuk River Field
Wednesday, ~anuary 21, 1987: I talked with Ray Springer, ARCO
~epresen~atzve, concerning the surface plugs on wells 9 & 15. I
noticed while checking the P&A marker plates that no cement was
showing in the 2 7/8" x 7" annulus on these wells. He said he was
going to finish cutting off the tree on well #1, and make sure that
the cement was in place on that well before ordering cement for the
other two wells.
Friday~. January 23~ 1987.' Mr.-Springer contacted me on Thursday
and in~°rmed me""that the cement was in place on well ~1, and he
would re-cement the annuli on wells 9 & 15.
I arrived on the location at 1:30 p.m. this date, and BJ Cementing
had jus~ finished cementing the annuli on wells 9 & 15.
I inspected the annult on both wells, and the cement was in place
and not falling.
Ray gave me pictures of the marker plates on all the wells except
9, 15 and well ~1. He will get the pictures of these wells to me
as soon as the work is complete.
In summary I observed the top cement plugs in wells 1, 9 & 15.
Attachment
On 1/26/87 Ray sent me the pictures of the P&A marker plates on
wells 9 & 15, and One of the marker post on. well ~1. These
pictures are attached to thi~ report.
The pic6ures of the marker pla%es on wmlls 5, 6, 7 & 12 are ~t g~xt, but
all th~%.iplates w~re checked by ~t before they w~re welded in pla~e.

RE: West Sak Sands Section 35 Project; Perforation Intervals in
Wells WSP-6I, 11I and 141
Dear Sir:
Included is additional information requested by Mr. Russ Douglas,
this date, concerning perforation intervals in injection wells
WSP-6I, 11I and 141. This information was not included with the
original Sundry notices submitted July 20, 1984.
WSP-6I - Perforate 130' between 3780' MD and 3980' MD
WSP-1iI - Perforate 114' between 3780' MD and 3980' MD
WSP-i4I - Perforate 100' between 3670' MD and 3860' MD
In all cases, these intervals are below the two main sand lobes
already perforated in the Upper West Sak. If you have any
questions please call either myself at 265-6193, or Tom Wellman
at 263-4304. Your attention is appreciated.
Very truly yours,

This operation _will open additional sands in the West Sak interval not perforated during the initial
completion. These sands have already been perforated in the adjacent producers.
The perforating will consist of approx{~ately 130' shot at 4 SPF using through tubing guns run on electric
line in multiple runs. A pressure tested lubricator will be used during perforating. After perforating,
the well will be flowed to tanks on location for clean-up.

ARCO Alaska, Inc., proposes to drill WSP-6[ as a planned injector in the West Sak Pilot Project. This project
will be conducted in accordance with the terms of Conservation Order No. 191, "West Sak Sands Section 35
Project".
A diverter system will be used to drill the 12-1/4" hole to 2048'MD (2000'TVD). In all subsequent operations,
an RSRRA BOP stack will be used and tested to 3000 psi (annular 1800 psi). WSP-7 is 60' away at surface. There
are no closer wellbores anywhere downhole. The 9-5/8" x 7" annulus will be Arctic Packed. The well will be
completed with 2-7/8" tubing. R EC E I VED

WELLBORE CROSSING DISCUSSION
WSP-6I/WSP-7
WSP-6I is 60' away from WSP-7 at the surface. Below the planned kick-off
point of 1000', the well courses diverge. Because of these conditions, ARCO
does not plan on taking any specific measures to avoid a collision.
On the enclosed proximity plat, please note that WSP-5 has not yet been
drilled.
