Waivers to Rules 6 and 11 of Conservation Order 165. Mr. D. F. S cheve ARCO Alaska, Inc. P. O. Box 100360 Anchorage, AK 99510-0360 Dear Mr. Scheve '. By letter dated October 21, 1986, waivers to Rules 6 and 11 of Conservation Order 165, as amended by Conservation Order No. 213, were requested for DS 4-18, 4-21, 4-24 and 4-27. These wells are currently on a rotating production schedule. They are produced for 7 or 8 days, and are shut in for 20 or 21 days. A static pressure survey is proposed to be taken at the end of a shut in period in these wells to satisfy the pressure survey requirement in Rule 6b of CO 165. Static surveys in these instances will yield an accurate measurement of reservoir pressure. Therefore, substitution of a static survey for the transient survey required in Rule 6b of CO 165 is hereby approved for Prudhoe Bay Unit wells DS 4-18, 4-21, 4-24 and 4-27. These wells are producing from 55 feet or less of perforations. Ail perforations are in zone la. Since all flow would necessarily enter from this zone, a productivity profile as required by Rule lla of CO 165 is not needed. Therefore, the Commission approves your request to waive the production profile required by Rule lla of CO 165 on Prudhoe Bay Unit wells DS 4-18, 4-21, 4-24 and 4-27. Well 4-27 is presently on a rotating production schedule of producing for 7 days followed by a shut in period of 21 days. The static bottomhole pressure is planned to be taken at the end of the shut in period. The static bottomhole pressure survey should provide an accurate measurement of reservoir pressure. · Permission to waive the production profile prescribed in Conservation Order 165, Rule 11a. Only 55' of perforations were shot in 4-27. All of the perforations were shot in Zone la thereby negating the need for a spinner survey. Additional perforations in Zone I are planned. The timing of the perforations, however, is after the initial six month time period has passed. A production profile will be run subsequent to the additional Zone I perforations. ~'- STATE,OF ALASKA '-- ~ ALASKA-OIL AND GAS CONSERVATION L,,...,,M MISSION ~ WELL-COMPLETION OR RECOMPLETION REPORT AND LOG ,, 1.
