I believe this was all due to changing flow rates and temperature during the test. This well is on the same location as the LPC facility, any changes to the injection flow or pressure will be noticed immedialy. They are going to do some trouble shooting and resubmit later this week. My understanding was that they were having some issues at Flow Station 1 during this time. Upstream changes can affect the pressures and temperatures downstream at the LPC facility. 30 MinPretestInitial15 Min Well Name Type Test Notes: Interval P/F Well Permit Number: Type Inj TVD PTD Test psi API Well Number Inspector Name:PRUDHOE BAY UN LIS LPC-01 Inspection Date: Tubing OA Packer Depth 170 2526 2458 2351IA 1653 199 45 Min 2240 60 Min Rel Insp Num: Insp Num:mitJDH240604134303 BBL Pumped:3.8 BBL Returned:3 Monday, July 22, 2024 Page 1 of 1 9 9 9 9 9 99999 9 9 9 9 9 9 9 9 second attempt over 200 psi drop in tubing pressure over 45 minutes drop of 286 psi on the IA. Two witnessed MIT-IA were conducted today, both were observed to be inconclusive due to unanticipated injection / rate changes during the tests. No evidence of well head leak. Data suggests small leak through packer or to the formation · At this time the leak is too small to find with conventional leak detection operations. · The 9-5/8" annulus failed the mechanical integrity test (MIT). The pressure declined 160 psi in a 30 minute, 1600 psig test. A leveling off of the pressure decline did not occur over the 1 hour that the well was tested. · The well is completed with a 7-5/8" circulation liner for freeze protection. The tubing X 9-5/8" casing annulus fluid is 60/40 glycol/water. Plan · Maintain well on water disposal service. · Continue monitoring of injection and annulus pressures on a 2 time/day schedule. Record bleed data. · Conduct annual MIT tests on the well to monitor changes in the leak rate. · Should leak worsen in the future, evaluate leak detection options. Produced water from the Lisburne Production Center will be injected through this well into the West Sak & Lower Ugnu Cretaceous formations. A surface diverter will be installed and operationally tested prior to spud. A 13-5/8", 5000 psi, RSRRA BOPE stack will be installed on the 13-3/8" surface pipe. It will be tested to 5000 psi (3000 psi for annular) upon installation and weekly thereafter. The string of 13-3/8" casing will be run to 3065'MD/TVD. Cement will be returned to surface. A string of 9-5/8" casing will be run to 6765'MD/TVD. The well will be completed with 5-1/2", 17.0# or 20.0#, L-80 flush-joint tubing with a 7-5/8" circulating string through the permafrost. Selected intervals will be logged prior to running 9-5/8" casing. Selected intervals will be perforated in the West Sak and Lower Ugnu Sands and reported on subsequent reports. Reserve pit fluids will be disposed of down the 9-5/8" x 13-3/8" annulus of this well prior to Arctic Pack operations (approximately 108 bbls of Arctic Pack on top of 300 sx Arctic Set i cement). This annulus will be left with a non-freezing fluid during any extended interruption in the disposal process. The maximum anticipated surface pressure of 2579 psig ~ 40°F was calculated from the bottom hole datum pressure of 3315 psig ~ 145°F. It assumes a gas column from there to surface, gas temperature, and compressibility effects considered. Such surface pressures could occur only if 9-5/8" casing had been set. With 13-3/8" casing set @ 3065'TVD, the maximum anticipated surface pressure is 2024 psig based on a 13.7 ppg EMW pump-in gradient at the shoe and a gas column to surface. Our formation leakoff test history, for surface pipe set a similar depth, shows a 11.5 - 13.7 ppg EMW pump-in gradient just below the casing shoe. The PWDW LPC-1 will be 817' from DS 18-1 ~ 6765'TVD.
