The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD numbers, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in each conductor. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as notification that the treatments took place and meet the requirements of form 10 -404, Report of Sundry Operations. Regulation at 20 AAC 25.265 requires all wells to be equipped with a Commission approved fail-safe automatic surface SVS capable of preventing uncontrolled flow by shutting off flow at the wellhead and shutting down any artificial lift system where an overpressure of equipment may occur. If installed, a subsurface safety valve must be maintained in working order and is subject to performance testing as part of the SVS. Commission policy, as outlined in a letter dated November 14, 1995, states that the testing frequency will be increased when a failure rate exceeds 10 percent. The AOGCC-AOGA Safety Valve System Task Force report issued June 13, 2003, supported retention of the 10% failure threshold. Effective the date of SVS test, and until an acceptable level of performance is achieved, the safety valve systems associated with wells located on PBU L1, L2, and L3 must be tested every 90 days. When testing is schedul, must notify the Commission Field Inspector at 907-659-2714 to provide an opportunity to w.'t th SVS test. Wahoo 4, 5, and 6 previously perforated, stimulated and tested. Wahoo 7 perforated with casing guns at 4 SPF as follows: 12172-190, 12198-218, 12224-230, 12238-248, 12251-260. Prestimulated: Wahoo 7 tested as follows prior to stimulation: 1284 BFPD, 22% H,O, 1554 GOR. Treatment: - 11 bbl diesel + 10% mutual solvent - 83 bbl 15% gelled HCL with following additives (B. J. Titan): chelating agent - 20#/1000G Ferrortrol 200 non-ionic surfactant - 0.1% NE 20 + 0.8% NE 24 corrosion inhibitor - 0.2% C1-15 scale inhibitor - 0.1% X-9 acid gelling agent-? 40#/1000 G 21R - 155 bbl slick diesel (3G/1000G FRA18 and 3G/1000~ IPA activator) Emulsion Test: Emulsion test run on 1/21/87 on live crude from L3-2 Zone 7 and no emulsion breaker was required. 0nsite inspection of tanks showed 16% HCL and less than 160 ppm Fe. Summary of Job: Treatment pumped per attached table. Maximum injection pressure = 4390 psi. Treatment pressure when acid hit perfs fell to 3820 psi and rate increased from 13.9 BPM to 20.4 BPM. SITP prior to treatment = 1410 psi. ISIP immediately following treatment = 1920 psi. 9 5/8" maximum annulus pressure = 1800 psi. Shutdown occurred due to leak in recirculation line after 69 bbl total pumped. Not critical as acid had not yet hit perfs. Post-Stimulation Rate: 3331 BFPD, 6% H,O, 2141 GOR, 638 psi FTP (1/23/87). Consequently, the enclosed sundry notices are being reported as completed, even though their entire proposed program may not have been completed. The only currently approved programs which will be completed in the future and will require a Report of Sundry Well Operations at completion are for Lisburne wells L5-24 and L3-2. The well condition summary information reported is the well condition at the date of the last sundried work. The production or injection rate and tubing pressure data are our current startup estimations for the wells. The casing pressure is the pressure on the tubing/casing annulus on December 2, 1986. The BOP test was started at 11:45 a.m. and finished at 2:00 p.m. There was one failure, the outside manual choke. 'In summary, the BOP test was performed satisfactorily by Rowan Rig #41. ARCO is to notify AOGCC within 3 days when the choke valve is replaced or repaired. Monday, A..ugust ~5, 1986: Buford Berry, the company man for ARCO, cal!ed'i 'The Outside' Choke was repaired and tested. He also informed me the alarm system for the H2S was hooked up and tested o.k. MIRU Rowan 41. Install 10" diverter lines and function test. 3. Drill 17-1/2" hole to 2100'MD(2100'TVD). Build 2-1/2° per 100' to 52°39' oriented N4°48'E to 4335 ' MD (4000' TVD). 4. Set 13-3/8" casing and cement to surface. Test casing to 2000 psi. Do top job if cement does not surface. 5. Install 13-5/8", 5000 psi, RSRRA BOP stack. Test BOP stack to 5000 psi, annular to 3000 psi. Test BOP stack weekly. Drill 10' of new formation and perform leakoff test. 6. Hold angle and drill 12-1/4" hole to 12,11$'MD(8?20'TVD). 7. Set 9-5/8" casing and cement. Test casing to 3000 psi. 8. Drill 10' of new formation and perform leakoff test to 12.5 ppg EMW. 9. Drill 8-1/2" hole to approximately 13,220'MD(9390'TVD). 10. The annulus will be left with a non-freezing fluid during any extended interruption in the disposal process. The annulus will be sealed with 300 sx of cement followed by Arctic Pack upon the completion of the fluid disposal process. b. The drilling fluid program and fluid surface system will conform to the regulations set forth in 20 AAC 25.033. c.
