The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD numbers, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in each conductor. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as notification that the treatments took place and meet the requirements of form 10 -404, Report of Sundry Operations. Tuesday, January 13, 1987: The diverter test commenced at 6:00 ~.m~ia~'-w~s--~6~cluded at 7:55 a.m. The annular preventer was opened and closed 6 times before it closed all the way. The reason for these failures was the 20-inch annular preventer was cold. It was suggested it be exercised more often, or more heat put in the cellar. Install 10" diverter lines and function test. 3. Drill 17-1/2" hole to KOP. Build 2.5°/100'MD to 45027' oriented S13°41'E. Hold angle and direction, drill 17-1/2" hole to 4213'MD (4000'TVD). 4. Set 13-3/8" casing and cement to surface. Do top job if cement does not return to surface. Test casing to 2000 psi. 5. Install 13-5/8", 5000 psi, RSRRA BOP stack. Test BOP stack to 5000 psi, annular to 3000 psi. Test BOP stack weekly. Drill 10' of new formation and perform l eakoff test. 6. Drill 12-1/4" hole to TD 11690'MD(9245'TVD) maintaining angle and direction. (Note: There is no Sadlerochit present in the L5-4 well path). 7. Run open hole logs. 8. Run and cement 9-5/8" casing to TD. Displace cement with brine. 9. Test 9-5/8" casing to 3000 psi. Leave a 400' diesel cap in the well. 10. Secure well and release drilling rig. 11. In accordance with Area Injection Order No. 4, excess non-hazardous fluids developed from well operations and as necessary to control the fluid level in the reserve pit, will be disposed of down the 9-5/8" x 13-3/8" annulus. The annulus will be left with a non-freezing fluid during any extended interruption in the disposal process.
