The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD numbers, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in each conductor. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as notification that the treatments took place and meet the requirements of form 10 -404, Report of Sundry Operations. If you require any additional information, please contact me or my alternate, Jerry Murphy, at 659 -5102. Sincerely, Torin Roschinger BPXA, Well Integrity Coordinator 0 • BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. Run in with coil tubing while circulating seawater to kill well, Lay a oement plug starting from PBTD (@.approx. g71'1'), Squeeze clown ancl leave the top of cement at least 100' above the top perforation but below Ihs packer. Therefore, the top of cement should be aomewt~ere between 9519' and 9;340' MD. See attaohecl ~mpletion diagram. 3. With AOGCC representative on location to witness operation, run in with slickline and confirm that top of cement is at least 100' above the top perforation. 3a. If the cement Is tagged more than 100° below the tubing tail, set a inserts-range plug in the tubing tall to prevent future fluid swap-out when laying a kick-off plug. 4, Cut the tubing in the first full above the par:kef PBR based upon the original completion tubing tally. 5, Circulate well over to seawater and freeze protect well with diesel from surface to Bleed any r)reeeure from the tubing, inner annulus and outer annulus to zero. 7. Install a back-pressure valve, Remove the weft house and flowllnee, Level the pad and dig out the collar. Prepare the pad for arrival of the rig. MIRU with drilling rig, Set a 9-5/8,' bridge plug at +/- 7770' MD. Upon completion of milling a 50' section from the 9-5/8" casing from 7420-7470" MD, a kicl~off cement plug will be laicl witl~ the base of Ihs cement plug extending 100' MD below the section window to 7570' MD. The bridge plug sets within 300' MD of the bottom t~f the milled section and the cement kickoff plug extending 100' MD below the base of the milled section will serve as the liner ~op cement plug. The 9-5t8" casing is cemented or adjacent to an impermeable formation from tho liner top to the milled section. This is consistent with the waiver request dated 9/17/92 for the case where the kickoff point is between 400' and 2000' from the lexisting production liner, REC[IVFP MAY 2 8 'i9~3 Alaska 0il & (~as Cunt. ~,,~,,,,~ .... ,' Anchorage TREE:iCAMERON H KB.
