The Drilling fluid program will consist of an 8.5 - 9.5 ppg spud mud in the 12- 1/4" hole, and a 9.0 - 9.5 ppg water base mud in the 8-1/2" hole. Drill 12-1/4" hole to 2700' and cement 9-5/8" NTSOS NSCC casing to surface. Install blowout prevention equipment consisting of 5000 psi W.P. pipe rams, blind rams, and annular preventer. Maximum possible bottomhole pressure is 2600 psi based on salt water pressure gradient to 5600' TVDSS. Directionally drill 8-1/2" hole to the 7" liner point (TD), 100' below the top of the West Sak. Run 7" 26# L-80 IJ4S liner, with external casing packer placed across a shale above the proposed top perforation, from the 8-1/2" hole TD to 250' inside the 9-5/8" casing shoe and cement using Class G cement. Inflate the external casing packer with cement. Clean out to 7" liner to PBTD. Change ovcr to 9.6 ppg. NaCL completion fluid. Test casing and lap to 3000 psi. Run 9-5/8" production packer on 7" tubing with a sliding sleeve. Set packer 50' above top of liner. A subsurface safety valve with dual control lines will be placed 100' below base of permafrost. Install and test Xmas tree. Displace tubing to diesel. Set and test packer. Shut down rig operations for perforating subsequent 'to rig release. The well will be perforated in accordance with normal practices.
