The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in each conductor. The permit to redrill does not exempt you from obtaining additional permits required by law from other governmental agencies, and does not authorize conducting drilling operations until all other required. permitting determinations .are made. Information regarding a "safety joint" for running the 3-3/16" portion of the planned production liner has been received from Mr. Ted Stagg. Providing such a "safety joint" equipped with a suitably sized lifting sub and threaded crossover to mate with the 3-3/16" liner section should lessen the time required to install the joint should a flow be observed while running the liner. However, be advised that the Commission views the use of this joint as an interim measure pending the receipt of pipe rams capable of sealing on this Size pipe. Not later than May 15, 2001, Alaska Drilling and Wells (BP Exploration Alaska) is directed to provide the Commission with information regarding the availability/deliverability of rams sized for 3-3/16" and other such sizes that you may plan to run. BloWout prevention equipment (BOPE) must be tested in accordance with 20 AAC 25 036.. Sufficient notice (approximately 24 hours) must be given to allow a representative of the Commission to witness a test of BOPE installed prior to drilling new hole. Notice may be given by contacting the Commission petroleum field inspector on the North Slope pager at 659-3607. Gross fluid rate has declined from 600 bfpd to 210bfpd and the water cut has increased. The sidetrack, S-08b, will exit the 5" and 7" liners in the Shublik interval and target a more desirable location in Zone 4. Existing perfs will be squeezed by pumping ±20 bbls cement past the whipstock. It will be completed with a cased and perforated 3 Y2"x 2 7/8" liner. Phase 1 : Drift, set whipstock on E-Line & squeeze with service coil. Planned for Mar 27-28, 2001. Tubing and liner drifted. Gas lift mandrels dummied off. Kinley caliper through tubing and liner. Master valve, wing valve and tree successfully tested to 5000psi. Wellhead seals tested for integrity. Tubing integrity verified. E-Line will set a mechanical whipstock at ±8,972' in the 5" liner. Service coil will squeeze ±20 bbls cement past the whipstock to shut off all existing perfs. Service coil will mill window. Phase 2: Mill window, Drill and Complete sidetrack: Planned for Apr. 5, 2001. Drilling coil will be used to drill and complete the directional hole as per attached plan. Mud Program: · Phase 1' Seawater · Phase 2: FIo-Pro (8.6- 8.7 ppg) Disposal: · All drilling and completion fluids and all other Class II wastes will go to Grind & Inject. · All Class I wastes will go to Pad 3 for disposal. Casing Program: · Top of 3 3/16" x 2 7/8" liner to be ±8,350' MD (±8060' TVDSS), 2 7/8" will be run from TD to ±9,032' MD (±8630'TVDSS). · The tapered liner will be cemented with ±15 bbls cement. Well Control: · BOP diagram is attached. · Pipe rams, blind rams and the CT pack off will be pressure tested to 400 psi and to 3500 psi. · The annular preventer will be tested to 400 psi and 2000 psi. Directional · See attached directional plan. BHL (State Plane): 619,687; 5,979,855. Max. hole angle is 100deg. · Magnetic and inclination surveys will be taken every 30 ft. No gyro will be run. Logging · An MWD Gamma Ray log will be run over all of the open hole section. · A real time Resistivity Log will be run in open hole.
