SUBMIT IN DUPLICATE
DS 4-39 Perforating Operations:
ARCO Alaska, Inc. perforated DS 4-39 at selected intervals in the
Sadlerochit Sand of the Prudhoe Bay Unit on 8/23/93. The intervals
perforated were the following: 14321' - 14326' and 14360' - 14380' MD
(Reference Log: AWS-BHCS dated 11/12/91). Produced fluids were in the
wellbore during perforating operations. All wireline work was done through
a 5000 psi WP BOP/Lubricator tested to 1.2 times the maximum expected
surface pressure.
A short summary of the work is given below:
Began perforating operations on 8/23/93. RU perforating unit,
pressure tested BOP's and lubricator to 3000 psi, okay. R/H, opened
well to flow and perforated 14321'-14326' MD at 4 SPF, RIH and
perforated 14360'-14380' MD at 4 SPF, S.I. well, POOH, and
confirmed all shots fired. (ref: AWS-BHCS of 11/12/91). Rigged down
and secured well.

~, November 20, 1991 I made a rig/BOPE inspection of
Nabor' s Rig 28-E, which is currentl¥~ Arco s DS4-39 in the
?rudhoe Bay Unit.
I found the rig and surrounding area to be in a clean and
orderly state. All BOPE equipment I observed appeared to be
in good operating order.
The tool pusher (Mike Downey) was at the rig overseeing a ram
change out in the BOPs due to the rig being prepared to run
casing.
I found no noncompliances on Nabor's Rig 28-E.
In summary, Nabor's Rig 28-E appears to be in good shape for
drilling Arco's DS4-39 in the Prudhoe Bay Unit.

OPERATIONS SUMMARY
1. MIRU drilling rig. NU diverter and function test same.
2. Drill 13-1/2" hole to 500 ' TVD/MD.
3. Kick off and build angle at 2.5 degrees/100 ft. to a final inclination angle of 54 deg. 31 '. @ 2366' TVD/
2681' MD.
4. Drill to 4633' MD / 3500' TVD and run and cement 10-3/4" casing. Nipple up BOPE and test to 5000
psi.
5. Pick up 9-7/8" BHA and RIH. Test casing to 3000 psi for 30 minutes. Drill 10' of new hole and
perform leakoff test.
6. Drill 9-7/8" hole to 8833'TVD, 13822'MD,( 10' TVD above Sadlerochit top).
7. Set 7-5/8" casing and cement same.
8. Pick up 6-3/4" BHA ,GIH. Test casing to 3000 psi.
9. Drill 10' of new hole and perform EMW test.
10. Drill 6-3/4" hole to TD @ 9006' TVD, 14124'MD, condition hole to run OH logs
11. Run wireline logs as programmed.
12. Set 5-1/2" liner and cement same.
13. Clean out the liner and test liner to 3000 psi for 30 minutes. Circulate well to brine. N/U Dry hole tree
and test to 5000 psi. Release Drilling Rig.
14. Run cased hole logs.
15. Move in with Completion dg and run 4-1/2"x 3-1/2" tubing and packer assembly with GLMs,and
SSSV. Test tubing and casing to 3000 psi. Freeze protect with diesel.
16. N/U tree and test to 5000 psi. Release Completion rig.
17. Rig up Wireline and perforate.
o Antcipated BHP: 3850 psi (8.4 ppg EMW) @ 8800' (SS)/8863' TVD
o Maximum Anticipated Surface Pressure: 2800 psi

DS 4-39 OPERATIONS SUMMARY CONTINUED
a. Excess non-hazardous fluids developed from the well operations and as necessary to control the reserve
pit fluid level will be pumped down the 7-5/8" x 10-3/4" annulus. The annulus will be left with a
non-freezing fluid during any extended period. The annulus will be sealed, with 300 sx of cement followed
by Arctic Pack.
b. Minimum distances of wells within 200 ft. of the proposed well are:
o DS 4-11: 58.81' @ 700' MD / 700'TVD
c. The ddlling fluid program and surface system will conform to the regulations set forth in 20AAC25.033.
d. Maximum surface pressure is based on BHP and a full column of gas to TD (0.10 psi/ft).
e. Based on previous logs on DS 4, no potential productive zones are anticipated above 3500' TVD.
f. No potential hazardous levels of H2S are anticipated in this well.
