There are currently 2 CIBP’s, one set in April 2014 at 10,050’ to shut-in Z4B toe perfs and another set in August 2018 at 9,119’ to perf and test Sag only. We are now looking to mill out these plugs and shoot 350’ of extended perforations targeting Z4B sands. Objective:Mill two CIBPs (9,119’ & 10,050’) to open up perforations. Extended Perforate 350’ net guns on 450’ gross interval. Coiled Tubing - Mill Plugs 1. MIRU and MU milling BHA (likely a venturi burnshoe) at WSS discretion, attempt to recover the core of the first 2-7/8” CIBP (9,119’). 2. Circulate hole clean. POOH and inspect BHA noting if core was recovered. 3. MU & RIH w/ motor and mill (at WSS discretion) and begin milling second CIBP (10,050’). Chase CIBP/plug debris to below bottom perf at 10,719’ (PBTD at 10,733’). Note final tag depth. 4. Circulate hole clean until we obtain clean returns. 5. POOH and LD milling BHA. 6. Prepare for extended perforating operations. 7. MU GR/CCL and nozzle. RIH to tag depth on milled CIBP’s and pull log to ~9,000’MD. Paint coil flag for subsequent perf run. 8. POOH and correlate for perf run. Coiled Tubing - Extended Perforating Notes: Remote gas monitoring for H2S and LELs are required for Open Hole Deployment Operations Due to the necessary open hole deployment of Extended Perforating jobs, 24-hour crew and WSS coverage is required. The well will be killed and monitored before making up the initial perf guns. This is generally done during the drift/logging run. This will provide guidance as to whether the well will be killed by bullheading or circulating bottoms up throughout the job. If pressure is seen immediately after perforating, it will either be killed by bullheading while POOH or circulating bottoms up through the same port that opened to shear the firing head. 1. After MU MHA and pull testing the CTC, tag-up on the CT stripper to ensure BHA cannot pull through the brass upon POOH with guns. Mill Plugs & Extended Add Perf Well: M-24A 2. Bullhead 1.2x wellbore volume ~260 bbls 1% KCL/SW down tubing. Max tubing pressure 2500 psi. (This step can be performed any time prior to open-hole deployment of the perf guns. Timing of the well kill is at the discretion of the WSS.) a. Wellbore volume to top perf = 217 bbls b. 5-1/2” tubing/liner – 8,623’ X 0.0232 bpf = 200 bbls c. 3-1/2” liner - 8,623 – 8,632’ X .0087 bpf= 1 bbls d. 3-3/16” liner – 8,632’ – 10,733’ (PBTD)’ X .0075 bpf = 16 bbls 3. At surface, prepare for deployment of TCP guns. 4. Confirm well is dead. Bleed any pressure off to return tank. Kill well w/KWF, 8.4 ppg 1% KCl or 8.5 ppg as needed. Maintain hole fill taking returns to tank until lubricator connection is re-established. Fluids man-watch must be performed while deploying perf guns to ensure the well remains killed and there is no excess flow. 5.*Perform drill by picking up safety joint with TIW valve and space out before MU guns. Review standing orders with crew prior to breaking lubricator connection and commencing makeup of TCP gun string. Once the safety joint and TIW valve have been spaced out, keep the safety joint/TIW valve readily accessible near the working platform for quick deployment if necessary. a.At the beginning of each job, the crossover/safety joint must be physically MU to the perf guns one time to confirm the threads are compatible. 6.Break lubricator connection at QTS and begin makeup of TCP guns per schedule below. Constantly monitor fluid rates pumped in and fluid returns out of the well. Fluids man-watch must be performed while deploying perf guns to ensure the well remains killed and there is no excess flow. Perf Schedule Use 2” Maxforce guns or similar Perf Interval (tie-in depths) Lengths Total Gun Length Weight of Gun (lbs) Run #1 10,050’ - 10,250’ 100’ blank 10,350’ - 10,500’ 10,050’ – 10,500’ 450’ ~2520 lbs (5.6 ppf) 7. Make up QTS and PT same. 8. RIH with perf gun and tie-in to coil flag correlation. Pickup and perforate interval per Perf Schedule above. a. Note any tubing pressure change in WSR. 9. After perforating, PUH to top of liner or into tubing tail to ensure debris doesn’t fall in on the guns and stick the BHA. Confirm well is dead and re-kill if necessary before pulling to surface. 10. Pump pipe displacement while POOH. Stop at surface to reconfirm well is dead. Kill well if necessary. 11. Review well control steps and Standing Orders with crew prior to breaking lubricator connection and commencing breakdown of TCP gun string. 12. Ensure safety joint and TIW valve assembly are on-hand before breaking off lubricator to LD gun BHA. 13. RDMO CTU. 14. Turn well over to Operations POP. Contingent Slickline – Set Dreamcatcher 1. If unable to get plug past perf interval, set Dreamcatcher in X-nipple @ 8,595’. If we are able to chase the plug past bottom perf,do not set a Dreamcatcher. Mill Plugs & Extended Add Perf Well: M-24A 2. Pull dream catcher after a minimum of one week Contingent Testers 1. MIRU portable test separator. 2. Communicate with PCC to optimize GL rates starting at 2 MMCFD with a max of 4.5 MMCFD. 3. Take frequent samples ensuring that we are not seeing any solids in returns. 4. Work well to FOC (choke bypass) quickly if no solids are seen in returns at surface. Communicate with OE to determine frequency based on well condition. 5. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD numbers, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in each conductor. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as notification that the treatments took place and meet the requirements of form 10 -404, Report of Sundry Operations. If you require any additional information, please contact me or my alternate, Gerald Murphy, at 659 -5102. Sincerely, Mehreen Vazir BPXA, Well Integrity Coordinator • • BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. Specific prep work, (Phase 1) and drilling, (Phase 2) operations are detailed below. Phase 1: Isolate & integrity test inner annulus, (IA). Drift tubing and tag PBTD in liner, abandon current perforations and set cement plug for kickoff. Mill window if service coil is available. Planned for July 15, 2001 · Drift well and tag PBTD. · Integrity test IA after displacing to seawater. Dummy gas lift valves are already in place. · P&A the existing perforations at 9157'-9192' MD with cement. · Spot a cement plug from PBTD to the kickoff point at 9020' MD. · Mill window with service coil if available. hase 2: Drill and Complete CTD sidetrack: Planned for August 1, 2001 2-3/8" coil will be used to drill a -1700 foot, 3-%" open hole sidetrack, (as per attached plan) and run a solid, cemented & perforated 3-1/2" x 2-7/8" liner completion. Mud Program: · Phase 1: Seawater · Phase 2: Seawater and rio-Pro (8.6- 8.7 ppg) Disposal: · No annular injection on this well. · All drilling and completion fluids and all other Class II wastes will go to Grind & Inject. · All Class I wastes will go to Pad 3 for disposal. Casing Program: · 3-1/2", L-80, solid liner will be run from 8640'md (TOL, 8159' TVDss) to approx. 9080'md and then crossed over to 2- 7/8", L-80, solid liner to TD at approx 10,696'md. Liner will be cemented in place with approximately 15 bbls (annular volume plus 25% excess in OH) of 15.8ppg class G cement. Well Control: · BOP diagram is attached. · Pipe rams, blind rams and the CT pack off will be pressure tested to 300 psi and to 3500 psi. · The annular preventer will be tested to 400 psi and 2200 psi. Directional · See attached directional plan. Maximum hole angle is 99.7 deg. · Magnetic and inclination surveys will be taken every 30 ft. No gyro will be run. Logging · An MWD Gamma Ray log will be run over the open hole section. · Real time resistivity may be run in the OH, if not, a memory resistivity log will be run after reaching TD. Hazards · H2S was measured at 80 ppm on May 9, 2001 at M-24. The highest. H2S concentration measured to date on "M" pad is 120 ppm on July 11,2000. · The well-path will cross 2 mapped faults. There is the risk of lost circulation along the proposed well- path. Reservoir Pressure Res. press, is estimated to be 3320 psi at 8800ss. Max. surface pressure with gas (0.12 psi/ft) to surface is 2256 psi. TREE = 6" McEVOY WELLHEAD= McEVOY A CTUA TOR= OTIS KB.
