This sidetrack will be conducted in two phases. Phase 1 Prep Work: Install mechanical whipstock, P&A well, mill window Plans are to begin prep work by August 10, 2001. · Drift tubing, perform integrity test of inner annulus. · Install mechanical whipstock at 10390' md · RU service CTU, pump 20 bbls of 13.8 ppg bentonite cement to isolate existing perfs. · Mill out cement to WS, mill 3.80" window at 10390'. Phase 2: Drill and Complete sidetrack: Plans are to be ready to sidetrack by August 18, 2001. Coiled tubing drilling will be used to drill and complete the directional hole as per attached plan. Mud Program: · Phase 1: Seawater for window milling · Phase 2: Flo-Pro (8.6 ppg) for drilling operations. Disposal: · No annular injection on this well. · All drilling and completion fluids and all other Class II wastes will go to Grind & Inject. · All Class I wastes will go to Pad 3 for disposal. Casing Program: · 3-3/16", 6.2# STL L-80 x 2 7/8", 6.4#, L-80 TCII liner will be run from TD (12090' md) to approx. 9350' MD and cemented with approximately 18 bbls. The 3-3/16" x 2-7/8" XO will be placed -2 joints outside the window at -10450' to provide for future sidetracking opportunities. Top of cement is planned to be at ~ 10150'. The liner will be pressure tested and perforated with coiled tubing conveyed guns. Well Control: · BOP diagram is attached. · Pipe rams, blind rams and the CT pack off will be pressure tested to 400 psi and to 3500 psi. · The annular preventer will be tested to 400 psi and 2000 psi. Directional · See attached directional plan · Magnetic and inclination surveys will be taken every 30 ft. No gyro will be run. Logging · A Gamma Ray log will be run in the open hole section. · A Memory CNL may be run in cased hole. Hazards · Lost circulation risk is low. · H2S has not been measured from this well. This is not an H2S Drillsite. Max H2S measurement on the pad is I0 ppm. Reservoir Pressure · Res. pressure is approx. 3100 psi @ 8800 tvd (6.8 ppg EMW) · Max. surface pressure with gas (0.1 psi/ft) to surface is 2200 psi. J-14A Potential Drilling Hazards Post on Rig 1. Please perform pre-job Hazard ID and Safety meetings prior to every change in work scope during the operation. Also, if things don't feel right shut-down the operation and discuss the situation before making the next operational move. SAFETY FIRST. 2. H2S has not been measured from this well.
