Rigged down. 12/1/93: Ran USIT/CBT logs that indicated good cement was present in the 5.5" liner. 1 2/4/93 - 1 2/5/93: MIRU CTU & PT equipment. RIH w/CT & jetted a fill cleanout to 9587' MD w/biozan gel, then ran a video log which did not show any holes in the liner. POOH w/camera. Rigged down 12/12/93 - 12/22/93: MIRU 2" CTU & RU Drilling platform. PT equipment. Made up & RIH w/BHA consisting of a 4.75" Bit, 3.5" Motor, Float Sub, UBHO Sub, Bottom Slim-1 section, Gamma Ray tool, Top Slim-1 section, MWD tools, followed by Non Rotating joint, Orienting tool, Jars, Disconnect, Circ. Sub, & Check Valves, mounted on 2" CT (BHA length 70.15'). Loaded CT w/2# Biozan & tagged PBTD at 9576' MD. Began drilling & increased 2# Biozan circulation to 2.0 bpm. Drilled fill/hole w/occasional motor stalls to 5.5" liner shoe at 9617' MD, then switched to 1.5# Biozan & drilled on through shoe. Made periodic stops for surveys, & swapped over to 2# Xanvis at 9638' MD. Backreamed to 4950' MD & performed leakoff test; formation held 750 psi. RIH to 9637' MD, took survey, then drilled to 9680' MD. Backreamed to 9640' MD, then RIH & drilled on w/3# Xanvis. Drilled to 9712' MD, with occasional motor stalls, took survey, then drilled on to 9725' MD & took a survey (87.9 degrees). Backreamed & POOH w/BHA #1. Replaced bit & motor, & added a 1 degree bent housing, then RIH w/BHA #2 (length 77') & logged hole gamma ray survey. Drilled new hole to 9843' MD using/2# Xanvis & took several surveys (angle at 89.6 degrees @ 9778' MD). ROP averaged 25 fph until breaking through shale at 9843' MD. Occasionally backreamed hole. Continued drilling horizontal hole to 9940' MD at 6 to 15 fph, took periodic surveys, & backreamed hole as needed. Survey at 9895' MD was 92.7 degrees. Drilled on to 10020' MD at 5 fph, where bit appeared to hit shale (10014' MD survey was 95.6 degrees). Drilled to 10132' MD @ 2 - 15 fph, then POOH w/BHA #2. Reconditioned gel & replaced worn motor w/new 3/4 degree bent motor. RIH w/BHA #3 & reamed to bottom. Drilled to TD at 10405' MD @ 2 - 30 fph w/BHA #3. Took several surveys (had 84.9 degree angle at 10358' MD). Circulated a clean gel sweep, then pumped 80 bbls 2% KCI Water w/bit at bottom, followed by 33 bbls Bleach to treat the formation. Jetted out hole w/300 bbls 2% KCI Water @ 2.5 bpm, & POOH w/BHA #¢3 while displacing hole w/247 bbls Meth Water. Rigged down. 12/26/93 - 12/27/93: MIRU CTU & PT equipment. RIH w/28 joints plus float shoe (785.5') of CT mounted 2-7/8" pre perforated liner, followed by 17 joints of blank 2-7/8" liner (514.8'), & 5-1/2" x 3" Arrow Packer. Set Packer at 9083' MD, set perforated liner from 9617' to 10401' MD, & set the blank liner from 9096' to 9617' MD. Sheared CT off packer & POOH. Rigged down. 12/28/93 . 1/17/94: MIRU CTU & PT equipment. Made a variety of preparations to run completion. RIH w/2" CT mounted 3-1/2" Coil Tubing Straddle assembly, & set a 5-1/2" x 3" Arrow Packer at 5177' MD. Sheared off packer & POOH w/CT. Ran 2" CT conveyed 3-1/2", L-80, tubing string w/2 dummy GLM's to surface. Rigged down. 1/28/94: MIRU CTU & PT equipment. RIH w/CT & jetted acid through the 2-7/8" pre-perforated liner (listed above), to dissolve perforation plugs in the liner. The rig was standing by when ! arrived and we began testing immediately. The test went well with no failures observed. I find that this rig is one of the best maintained on the north slope considering its activity level. The rig and the area surrounding it is kept clean, and orderly. The well is shut-in 98% of the time and has shown no ability to cycle competitively. The objective of the redrill is to plug and abandon the current BHL and move to horizontal BHL approximately 664' to the northwest. The current BHL is cut by a well-defined fault in Zone 2 and is believed to be responsible for historically high GOR production. The new BHL northwest of the fault is expected to have a NLOC of 55' TVD. The drainage area for the new BHL is considered to be 120 acres with associated reserves of 618 MBO. Initial expected rates for the well are 1400 bopd, at 1500 sfc/stb GOR and 0% WC. The expected NOB is 1225 NBOPD. After cementing the 5-1/2" liner at the target depth of 9566' MD, the rig will secure the well and move off location. Coiled tubing will ddll out the shoe and continue to the TD location at 10,566' MD. The well will then be completed with a 2-7/8" liner and a 3-1/2" coiled tubing production string. RIH with 6-3/4" steerable drilling assembly w/Slim-OneTM GR/Directio~al. Test casing to 3500 psi. Dress off cement to 5' below section. Kickoff well and directionally drill to target at 9566' MD / 8700 TVDbkb with 90° hole angle at Zone 1 B TD. 10. RU Atlas Wireline and drillpipe-convey GR/Den./Neutron logs if necessary. Make wiper trip depending on hole conditions and logging time. 11. Run 5-1/2" 17# L-80 NS¢O liner assembly to TD with liner top packer and +/- 150' lap. 12. Cement liner with a minimum of 212 sacks. 13. Clean out liner to 10' above float shoe and test to 3500 psi. Test intermediate casing packoff to 5000 psi and replace if necessary. Change over to clean inhibited seawater. Freeze protect with diesel to 2100'. 14. Install flase bowl and coiled tubing hanger in FMC Gen IV wellhead. 15. Set BPV. ND BOP's. Notify an AC)GCC representative prior to commencing plug-batik operations. 2. Lay a cement plug starting from PBTD. Leave the top of cement at least 100' above the top perforation at 9030' MD but below the tubing tail at 8302' MD. ; 3. With an AOGCC representative on location to witness the operation, run in with slickline and confirm that top of cement is at least 100' above the top perforation. 4. Rig up electric line and cut the 2-7/8" tubing just above the production packer at 8213" MD. 5. Circulate the well over to seawater and freeze protect well with diesel to 2000'MD. 6. Bleed any pressure from the tubing, inner annulus and outer annulus to zero. 7. Install a back-pressure valve. Remove the well house and flowlines. Level the pad and dig out the cellar.
