A failing AOGCC witnessed MIT-IA was conducted on 05/14/21. DHD subsequently performed a passing PPPOT-T and PPPOT-IC. DHD performed an MIT-IA on 05/17/21 that failed with a LLR of 0.13 gpm @ 2500 psi. The failed MIT-IA indicates the leak is not through the wellhead seals. An Read Archer LDL was run on 6/24/2021 which identified leaks in the tubing at 8591’ MD and 9037’ MD. We would like to return the well to sea water injection by setting two tubing patches to restore integrity. Objective: Set tubing patches across the leaks at 8591’ MD and 8037’ MD. Obtain passing pressure test to confirm integrity. Procedure: Slickline/Fullbore: 1. Set xn nipple reducer in xn nipple at 13010’ MD. 2.Set nipple in xn nipple reducer 3. CMIT-TxIA to 2500 psi to confirm casing integrity. 4. Pull nipple from nipple reducer if CMIT-TxIA passes. E-line: 1. Set patch from 8580-8610’ MD 2.Set patch from 8024-8054’ MD 3.MIT-IA to 2500 psi to confirm integrity restored. Operations: 1.POI 2.Obtain AOGCC witnessed MIT-IA to 2500 psi once online. 193-184 Tubing Patches Well: NK-10 Date: 7/21/2021 Figure 1: NK-10 WBS MEMORANDUM TO: Jim Regg P.I.Supervisor I (0l/O/'1,CZI FROM: Adam Earl Petroleum Inspector NON -CONFIDENTIAL State of Alaska Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission DATE: Wednesday, June 9, 2021 SUBJECT: Mechanical Integrity Tests Hilcorp Noah Slope, LLC NK -10 PRUDHOE BAY UN NIA NK -10 Sre: Inspector Reviewed By: P.I. The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD numbers, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in each conductor. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as notification that the treatments took place and meet the requirements of form 10-404, Report of Sundry Operations. If you require any additional information, please contact me or my alternate, Mehreen Vazir, at 659-5102. Sincerely, Gerald Murphy BPXA, Well Integrity Coordinator • • BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. The testing went well with all wells exhibiting competent tubing and casing. Wells # 10, 16 and 38 tubing injection pressures were high enough to exhibit the required minimum of 500 psi differential betwom tubing and casing. These wells were held and observed at their pretest comnditions for thirty minutes with no change in annulus pressures observed. The wellhouses and pad were in good condition. Subsidence does not seem to be a issue on this pad. M.I.T. Box 196612 Anchorage, Alaska 99519-6612 (907) 561-5111 May 22, 1995 Commissioner David Johnston Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission 3001 Porcupine Drive Anchorage, AK 99501-3192 RE: Notice of Commencement of Injection Operation Dear Commissioner Johnston' BP Exploration (Alaska), Inc. as operator of the Niakuk Oil Pool, hereby gives ten day advance notice of its intention to commence injection into Niakuk 10 and Niakuk 12A on June 1, 1995, pursuant to the provisions of Area Injection Order No. 14, Prudhoe Bay Field, Niakuk Oil Pool, dated March 22, 1995. Aisc enclosed is an Application for Sundry Approval (Form 10-403) to authorize the conversion of Niakuk 10 to water injector status. We have completed well operations on Niakuk 7 and Niakuk 8 and reviewed the results of the recently completed Arco/Exxon well Niakuk 27. Based on Icg and pressure data, stratigraphic correlations have been made between the six existing wells in Segment 1 (Niakuk 1/1A,7,8,10,12A, and 27) and several injector/producer alternatives have been evaluated. Model studies indicate that similar recovery levels can be achieved by injecting into Niakuk 10 and 12A, or by injecting into Niakuk 7 and 8. We believe that injecting into Niakuk 10 and 12A is most appropriate between these combinations, primarily because it provides for delayed water breakthrough from the production wells compared to injecting into Niakuk 7 and 8. As a result of the review of all available data, we believe that it is most appropriate to initiate water injection operations into both Niakuk 10 and 12A as soon as possible to maximize recovery from the Segment 1 portion of the Niakuk Oil Pool. Box 196612 Anchorage, Alaska 99519-6612 (907) 561-5111 March 21, 1995 Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission 3001 Porcupine Drive Anchorage, Alaska 99501 Dear AOGCC Representative, Attached are revised blueline, sepia and LDGS formatted tapes for nine early Niakuk wells. Logs and tapes were sent to you for each of these wells in the past year. Rbcently Anadrill has improved the density algorithm and re- created all of our LWD CDN data using the new algorithm. This processing decreases the density a couple of porosity units, making the readings more accu rate. Please replace the first set of tapes and the first set of CDN logs we sent you so that these improved logs are used for your analyses. The NK-21 blueline and sepia you received in December were the re-processed version and, therefore, do not need to be replaced. Per 20.AAC 25.537(d) BP Exploration requests that these logs held confidential for 24 months. Please contact me at 564-4531 if you have any questions.
