Subject: Corrosion Inhibitor Treatments of GPMA PM -2
Dear Mr. Regg,
Enclosed please find multiple copies of a spreadsheet with a list of wells from GPMA
PM -2 that were treated with corrosion inhibitor in the surface casing by conductor
annulus. The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the
annular space and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak
to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD
numbers, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in
each conductor.
As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as
notification that the treatments took place and meet the requirements of form 10 -404,
Report of Sundry Operations.
If you require any additional information, please contact me or my alternate, Gerald
Murphy, at 659 -5102.
Sincerely,
G(

Well Status:
P2-18 is a comer well producer in the northern EOR/water flood area at Point McIntyre.
The well has a confirmed leak through the 7-5/8" production casing. The well has been ..r
shut-in.
Project:
P2-18 is currently completed conventionally with 4-1/2" 13 Cr tubing inside 7-5/8" 13 Cr
production casing. The tubing will be cut and pulled above the existing packer. A USIT
log will be run to evaluate the condition of the production casing across the Cretaceous
interval and to determine where the casing should be cut above the down squeeze in the
outer annulus. A packer will be run to that depth to confirm pressure integrity of the
production casing below that point. Production casing will be cut and pulled. The stub
will be fished and new premium threaded casing will be rerun and cemented to surface.
New tubing will be run in the hole and stacked over the existing packer with an overshot.
The new 13 Cr tubing string will be pressure tested in addition to the inner annulus. The
plug will be removed from the well bore and the well will be placed on production and
tested.
Pre-RWO
1. Check well head seals and lock down screws.
2. Drift tubing.
3. Set plug in tubing tail just below packer.
4. Chemical cut 4-1/2" tubing above packer.
5. Circulate well clean and freeze protect with diesel.
6. Set BPV in tubing hanger
7. Remove well houses and flow lines. Prepare pad for rig.
/"
RWO
1. MIRU work over rig. Install TWC and test. ND tree and tubing head adapter flange.
2. NU B2~ and test per BP and AOGCC regulations. Test the BOPE to 250 psi low
and p50 psi high. Test the annular to 250 psi low and 3500 psi high. Pull the TWC
witM . ricator
3. PU landing joint or spear and make-up into the tubing hanger. Pull and lay down the
tubing hanger.
4. Pull and lay down the 4-Y2", 12.6 lblft, 13-Cr tubing down to the cut @ -12670 ft md.
5. RU Schlumberger E-line and run USIT. The USIT log with be used to evaluate the
condition of the production casing across the Cretaceous interval and to determine /'
where the casing should be cut above the down squeeze in the outer annulus.
6. Run RTTS on DP to depth determined from USIT log. Test plug and casing below
damage to 3500 psi for 30 minutes.
7. Set and test RBP -600' below TOC in OA.
8. Mechanical cut 7-5/8", 29.7 lblft, NT-95 casing below damage section. Circulate out
OA freeze protection with brine.
9. Spear 7-5/8" casing. POOH casing to cut.

Dear Mr. Clark:
Enclosed is the approved application for permit to drill the above
referenced well.
The permit to drill dOes not exempt you from obtaining additional
permits required by law from other governmental agencies, and does not
authorize conducting drilling operations until all other required
permitting determinations are made.
Blowout prevention equipment (BOPE) must be tested in accordance with
20 AAC 25.035. Sufficient notice (approximately 24 hours) of the BOPE
test performed before drilling below the surface casing shoe must be
given so that a representative of the Commission may witness the test.
Notice may be given by contacting the Commission petroleum field
inspector on the North Slope pager at 659-3607.
