Subject: Corrosion Inhibitor Treatments of GPMA PM -2
Dear Mr. Regg,
Enclosed please find multiple copies of a spreadsheet with a list of wells from GPMA
PM -2 that were treated with corrosion inhibitor in the surface casing by conductor
annulus. The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the
annular space and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak
to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD
numbers, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in
each conductor.
As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as
notification that the treatments took place and meet the requirements of form 10 -404,
Report of Sundry Operations.
If you require any additional information, please contact me or my alternate, Gerald
Murphy, at 659 -5102.
Sincerely,
G(
Mehreen Vazir

Test's Details
I traveled to BPX's Pt. Mclntyre Field to witness MIT's on the above wells. Pat Lattner was the BPX rep. today. The
pretest pressure were observed and found to be stable and the standard annulus pressure tests were performed with all
wells meeting the AOGCC criteria for successful MIT's.

PTD # 95-0044
Prudhoe Bay Field
Monday, June 12, 1995: I traveled this date to ARCO's Point Mc Intyre 2-28 being
drilled by Pool rig 7 and inspected the diverter system.
As the attached AOGCC Diverter Systems Inspection Report shows, the system was
installed properly and all equipment worked very good. The only item that was not
ready to test was the gas dectection system had not been calibrated. This will be
corrected and I wiil be notified.
Summary: ! witnessed the diverter system test and inspected for correct
instalation on Pool 7 drilling ARCO's Point Mc intyre 2-28.
NOTE: l was notified on 6/13/95 by Les Peak, PBD dirlling foreman, informing me
that the gas detection systems had been calibrated and were working OK.

Dear Mr. Clark:
Enclosed is the approved application for permit to drill the above
referenced well.
The permit to drill does not exempt you from obtaining additional
permits required by law from other governmental agencies, and does not
authorize conducting drilling operations until all other required
permitting determinations are made.
The blowout prevention equipment (BOPE) must be tested in accordance
with 20 AAC 25.035; and the mechanical integrity (MI) of the injection
wells must be demonstrated under 20 AAC 25.412 and 20 25.030(g)(3).
Sufficient notice (approximately 24 hours) of the MI test before
operation, and of the BOPE test performed before drilling below the
surface casing shoe, must be given so that a representative of the
Commission may witness the tests. Notice may be given by contacting the
Commission petroleum field inspector on the North Slope pager at

Drilling Hazards/Risks
Tight hole has been experienced in the lower Sagavanirktok, below the
surface casing shoe. This ha.q can.qed st~]ek pipe incidenla and bit/BHA
balling Gumbo problems. ROP's in this section are typically very fast and
care must be: taken to ensure the hole does not ~come overloaded with
cuttings. On well P2-07 the pipe stuck at a connection 4873' and a
$380,000 BHA was lost, possibly due to insufficient hole cleaning.

REMARKS:
Well drilled 24-JUN through 2T-JUN-95 with CDR/CDN.
All data was collected in a single bit run.
CDR INTERVAL ALSO INCLUDES MAD/WASHDOWN DATA.
BECAUSE OF THE LARGE QUANTITY OF DATA AND THE
LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE ON A 3 1/2" DISKETTE, THE
RAW MWD AND MAD CURVES WERE ELIMINATED FROM THIS
TAPE. BOTH BP AND ARCO HAVE THE COMPLETE DATASET.
