Subject: L-111 (PTD# 202-030) Return to Produced Water Injection and Evaluate for TxIA
Communication
Mr. Wallace,
Well L-111 (PTD# 202-030) is a Kuparuk Borealis WAG injector that is currently classified as Not
Operable. The well operated under Administrative Approval AIO 24B.002 for TxIA communication
when the well was on MI gas injection, which allowed for water injection only. The AA was active
from September 2008 to June 2013 when a tubing patch was set over a possible leak at GLM #3 and
the AA was canceled. L-111 continued WAG injection up until April 2023 when the tubing patch was
pulled for downhole wellwork. Hilcorp would like to place the well back on water injection as
follows:
1. Pull waterflood regulator valves from St #1 & 2. Replace with dummy valves.
2. Perform an MIT-T to 2,500 psi.
3. Pull tubing tail plug and drift to TD.
4. Reclassify well to “Under Eval” and return well to water injection (Kuparuk Borealis Oil Pool).
5. Perform AOGCC online MIT-IA.
6. Monitor and manage IA re-pressurization while Under Eval for up to 60 days.
A 60-day under evaluation period is being requested to monitor the well over a longer sustained
injection timeframe. Any early IA re-pressurization may be due to thermal expansion and not due to
communication of Tubing x Inner Annulus while on produced water injection. By the end of the 60-
day under evaluation period, Hilcorp will 1) apply for an AA for PWI only or 2) re-set a patch over
GLM #3.
Please let me know if you agree with this plan forward as well as any additional documentation that
would be required prior to reclassifying the well “Under Eval” and placing on produced water
injection.

Subject: Corrosion Inhibitor Treatments of GPMA PM -2
Dear Mr. Regg,
Enclosed please find multiple copies of a spreadsheet with a list of wells from GPMA
PM -2 that were treated with corrosion inhibitor in the surface casing by conductor
annulus. The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the
annular space and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak
to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD
numbers, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in
each conductor.
As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as
notification that the treatments took place and meet the requirements of form 10 -404,
Report of Sundry Operations.
If you require any additional information, please contact me or my alternate, Gerald
Murphy, at 659 -5102.
Sincerely,
Mehreen Vazir

Date: Thu, 13 Mar 2003 14:31:46 -0600
From: "Sherwood, Alistair" <SherwooA@BP.com>
To: "Winton Aubert (E-mail)..<winton_aubert@admin.state.ak.us>
Winton,
For Point Mcintyre well P2-54A we have decided to swap to 2" coil tubing & drill with 2-3/8" tools. This change allows us to
operate without restriction through the 3-1/2" tubing tailpipe.
The permit application was written & approved for a jointed string of 2-1/16" CSH, attached to the bottom of the 2-3/8" coil.
This would have allowed us to operate through the 3-1/2" tailpipe without a need to change out coil & injector gripper blocks
for just the one well. For this operation we had acquired a set of 2-1/16" pipe rams, but these will not now be used
So for the 2" CT operation the the ram configuration on the BOPE from the bottom up is:
· 2" combi pipelslip
· 2-318" combi pipelslip
· choke/kill X-over
· 2" combi pipe/slip
· blindlshear
If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to e-mail or call
Regards
Alistair Sherwood

P2-54A Sidetrack
Summary of Operations: /
Well P2-54 is scheduled for a through tubing sidetrack with the SLB/NOæd" Cojled Tubing Drilling
rig. The sidetrack, P2-54A, will kick offffom a cement ramp window a 07 ,5' md. The P2-54A
target is the Pt. Mac formation. The following describes work planned the sidetrack. Sundry
form 10-403 was submitted for the pre sidetrack P&A. A schematic diagram of the proposed
sidetrack is attached for reference.
Pre CTD P&A Summary (expected to begin 2/23/03)
1. Slickline - Drift tubing and tag bottom.
2. Service coil - Scale blast tubing and casing.
3. Slickline - Drift tubing for caliper. Caliper casing and tubing. Dummy GL V s.
MITIA/OA.
4. Service coil - P&A wellbore with --24 Bbls of 17 ppg class G cement for cement ramp
window. Final TOe is planned for 10715' md.
5. Other - WOC, PT wellbore to 1000 psi. P&A complete. If the cement were to
fail the pressure test, a second squeeze is not planned since this portion of the wellbore
will be isolated by cement during the primary cement job of the new sidetrack liner.
Bleed flowlines to zero and ensure valves hold. Remove wellhouse.
CTD Sidetrack Summary (ex»ected to be~in .....3/5/03)
1. MIRV CTD rig / /'
2. Mill out 2.635"XN nipple to 2. 7?:~ and mill cement ramp window.

Well Control:
· BOP diagram is attached.
· Pipe rams, blind rams and the CT pack off will be pressure tested to 400 psi and to 3 ~OO F~'/
· The annular preventer will be tested to 400 psi and 2500 psi. I z- ~ 'I Vi L

Note: There,~~,3'1h) tubing in the current wellbore, requiring that CTD drills a slimhole sidetrack /'
(2.75" x 3" bice~(bit). While drilling, joints of2 1/16" CS hydril will be attached to the bottom
of the 2 3/8"<éóíI tubing to provide more annular clearance (t~prove hydraulics) through the 3
~" tubing section from 5668' md to TD of the well at 11840'. In this case the length of2 1/16"
CSH tubing is being considered part of the drilli1}g-'BJIA. As such the BOP pipe rams will not be .,----
sized for the 2 1/16 CSH (not available). Th~~~riÍajority of the drilling operation will have 2
3/8" coil across the BOPs. When tripping th~1/16" CSH, ajoint of2 3/8" tubing with TIW
valve on top and crossover to 2 1/16" CSH on bottom will be immediately available to stab on the
CSH and run across the BOPs in the unlikely event of a well flow incident.
Directional
· See attached directional plan. Max. planned hole angle is 106 deg.
· Magnetic and inclination surveys will be taken every 30 ft. No gyro will be run.
Logging
· An MWD Gamma Ray log will be run over all of the open hole section. A memory resistivity
log is planned.

was sidetracked from P2-54APB1 at 11175' MD (8824' SSTVD) on MWD run 8.
(6) Baker Hughes INTEQ utilized Tiny Trak NaviGamma, slim hole directional,
and Gamma Ray services. '
(7) The ROPS, Rate of Penetration, was omitted in the interval from 10794' MD
(8783' SSTVD) to 10812' MD (8794' SSTVD) due to being logged after drilling.
(8) The data presented here is final and has been depth shifted to a PDC
(Primary Depth Control), recorded by SWS on March 27, 2003.
(9) The interval from 11674' MD (8919' SSTVD) to 11692' MD (8930' SSTVD) was not
logged due to sensor bit offset at TD.
