The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD numbers, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in each conductor. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as notification that the treatments took place and meet the requirements of form 10 -404, Report of Sundry Operations. Merv Liddelow (BP Rep.) performed the SVS tests today. All components functioned propedy and held their pressure tests. The new style pilot boxes were installed on most of the wells, which combined with the reliability of the electronic pilots helped to produce these great results. The well houses were all clean with pilot valves in proper position. .S.U..M. MARy: I witnessed the SVS test on twenty BPX H pad wells in the Prudhoe Bay Field. 20 wells, 40 components, No failures. March '12~ 2001: I witnessed the four of the Semi-Annual SVS tests on BPX wells H-15,16B,23A,29A in the GC-2 area of the Prudhoe Bay Field. I had to leave before completion of the pad due to a Exploratory wells Diverter function test. Merv Liddelow (BP Rep.) performed the SVS tests today. All components functioned properly and held their pressure tests with the exception of the Surface Safety Valve on H-15 which had a slow internal leak. This was greased, cycled and retested "OK". The test went very well with all components functioning and holding their pressure test properly. The rig was ready to test when I arrived and I was impressed by the methodical test procedure exhibited. This instilled confidence in me that the same test procedure was used every test. All equipment I observed had the appearance of regular maintenance. The crew seemed excited about their success with the horizontal drilling program and I feel that this rig is a good choice for these jobs. SUMMARY: I witnessed the initial BOP test on Nabors rig #2ES. · Test time 1 3/4hours. No failures. Care should be taken not to stress this string in tension, collapse, or burst. · Wireline tagged up on fill at 9858' WLMD. SUMMARY PROCEDU FIE: * Refer to Recommended practice for 9-5/8" Redrill-Sidetrack Version 3.2 ., Pre-Rig Work: 1. Install gages, function Iockdown screws, and test the 9 5/8" packoff to 3500 psi. 2. R/U slick line, RIH and pull SCSSSV. 3. R/U CT, RIH and lay a cement plug accross and 600' above perfs. WOC. Test plug as per AOGCC requirement. 4. R/U E-line, tag cmt. plug, verify atleast 100' above perfs. Pick up and cut 4.5" tubing between TIW seal assembly @ 9088' MD and sliding sleeve @ 9030' MD. Minimum depth to cut is 9005'MD for section @ 8855'MD. 5. Circulate SW down tbg and up the inside annulus. Freeze protect the top 2200' MD with diesel. Bleed off any pressure from tubing and inner / outer annuli. 6. Set BPV & test from below to 1000 psi. Secure well. 7. Remove the well house and flowlines. If necessary, level the pad and dig out the cellar. Please provide total well preparation cost on the handover form. Rig-Work: 10. 1. Move in drilling rig. 2. Pull BPV. Circulate out freeze protection cap and recover for future use. 3. Install a BPV & test from below to 1000 psi. N/D the production tree. 4. N/U BOP's. Pull BPV and install test plug. Test BOP's to 250 /5000 psi. Test annular to 250/2500 psi. Remove the test plug. Pressure test the 9 5/8" casing to 3500 psi/10 min. 5. Roll hole to milling fluid & spot 18 ppg mud up to the base of the proposed 9.5/8" section. 6. Pull and lay down the 4-1/2" tubing. Inspect for NORM. 7. P/U Section Mill on 4.5" DP & RIH. Cut window to 8855-8900'MD. POOH. 8. RIH open ended to 9000' MD and spot a kick-off plug from 100' below the base of the section to ~- 200' above the top of the section. 9. Run in with an 8-1/2" steerable assembly (MWD - directional) and dress the cement to 5' below the section top. Oontact AOGCC to witness plug tag. Circulate hole clean. Kickoff and directionally drill to the Pilot Hole TD at 9100' TVDss and 55.79°. See attatched directional plan. Obtain fluid evaluation logs via dp assist (GR/SP/DIL/BHC/NEU). Kickoff and directionally drill to the Target at 8745' TVDss and 86.17°. See attatched directional plan. Make a conditioning trip with a 8 1/2" hole-opener for the open hole section with a 9 5/8" casing scraper spaced to clean the casing. Run a 7" 29#, 13 Cr / NT-80, NSCC liner with 9 5/8 x 7" packer / hanger to bottom in the 8-1/2" hole and space out for about 150' of lap. The 13 Or casing should extend from TD'to 400' above the GCC. Refer to Standard recommended practices for liner running procedure. Cement the liner in place with the total cement volume based upon 50% open-hole enlargement plus the 80' shoe. volume, 150' lap volume and 150' excess on top of the liner with drillpipe in the t-iole. ( Note: if run, use caliper plus 20%). Set liner hanger / packer with 4200 psi. Reverse out clean. Re-test BOP's as needed. Run in with 6'_' steerable drilling assembly (LWD - GR / four phase resistivity / directional) on 4-1/2" x 3-1/2" drillpipe. Clean out to landing collar. Test casing to 3500 psi for 15 min. Drill out of shoe joints plus 10' new hole. Roll hole with FLO-PRO system Drill approximately 1121' of 6" hole horizontally to TD of 11515'MD. See attatched directional plan. Make a conditioning trip with a 6" hole-opener for the open hole section with a 7" casing scraper spaced to clean the liner. Install a 4-1/2", 12.6#, 13 Cr, NSCT liner with 4-1/2" X 7" 13 Cr packer / hanger to bottom in the 6" hole and space out for about 150' of lap. Cement the liner in place with the total cement volume based upon 50% open-hole enlargement plus the 80' shoe volume, 150' lap volume and 150' excess on top of the liner with drillpipe in the hole. (Note: if run, use caliper plus 20%). Set liner hanger / packer with 4200 psi. Reverse out clean. P/U 3 7/8" bit on 2 7/8" PAC stinger. RIH and clean out 4 1/2" liner to landing collar. Circulate hole clean. Pressure test the liner lap to 3500 psi/30 min. Roll the hole with filtered seawater. POOH. RIH with drillpipe coonveyed perforating assembly and perforate the well. POOH LDDP. Run the 4-1/2", 12.6#, 13 Cr, NSCT completion assembly to place end of tail pipe above the Sag River. Space out and circulate with corrosion inhibitor prior to setting packer. Install a BPV. Remove BOP's. Install and test the production tree to 5000 psi. Pull tree test plug. Test the inner annulus to 3500 psi for 30 minutes. Shear RP valve in the upper GLM and freeze protect the well.
