The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD numbers, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in each conductor. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as notification that the treatments took place and meet the requirements of form 10 -404, Report of Sundry Operations. The caliper recordings indicate moderate scale buildup throughout the interval logged, resulting in measured ID's ranging from 3.625" to 3.790". The ID generally ranges from 3.70" to 3.75" throughout most of the logged interval, with a slight increase in scale thickness beginning at about 10,100' MD and extending to the bottom of the well. A Minimum Diameter Profile, illustrating the minimum ID measured in each joint logged is included in this report. No corrosive damage to the pipe is indicated throughout the logged interval. There is a moderate bend indicated in the pipe in Jt. 148 @ 6,067' MD, which may hinder long, full-gauge tools from passing this point in the tubing. The BHL is offset by one producer and two injectors with the closest offset pressure at 4200 psi at 8800' TVDss. A top kuparuk fault is located 375t SW of the target center. A smaller fault (_+ 15' throw) is located _+200' SE of the target center. The fault is not expected to cause lost returns if encountered. No close approach wells have been identified however magnetic interference with adjacent wells will require a surface hole gyro from spud to KOP. Well Control: Well control equipment consisting of 5000 psi W.P. pipe rams, blind rams, and annular preventer will be installed and is capable of handling maximum potential surface pressures. NU and function test diverter. , Spud well and drill 12-1/4" hole to 2400' md. Kick off and build angle to 50° inclination on 90° azimuth by 4406' md (4160' TVD). Hold angle to 5718' md (5000' TVD) surface hole TD. o Set 9-5/8" casing and cement same. Test casing to 3000 psi for 10 minutes. Nipple up BOP's and test same to 5000 psi. Note AOGCC witness or waiver on the morning report. , P/U 8 -1/2" BHA, drill 10' new hole and perform LOT. Run in-hole reference gyro after dulling the first 9-7/8" bit. o Drill ahead and hold 50° to TD at +12,175', (9136' TVD) 125' md below the pay at 9004' TVDss. Perform open-hole change over to 3% KC1 polymer mud at 10.2 ppg before top of Kuparuk. Obtain LWD logs through Kuparuk. o POH and stand back drill pipe. Run 4-1/2" NT-13Cr-80 liner and cement same, displacing with seawater. Bump plug and set liner top packer. Release and displace 9- 5/8" casing to filtered seawater. Test casing to 4000 psi for 30 minutes. '7. Run 4-1/2" NT-13Cr-80 tie-back string/completion assembly. Sting liner tieback seals into liner top. Test tubing and annulus to 4000 psi. 8.
