YES If No,Why? it Comments, well history, S-05A is a lateral recompleted with 4-1/2", 13-Cr tubing and perforated in Zone 4B.The toe section background information, (completed in the upper portion of Z4B)was isolated with an IBP on 10-25-04,though it is questionable if etc: this is holding. The plug initially look to shut of the toe but quickly rose back to previous rates. In 2011 S-05A was converted to injection. Its initial injectivity was quite low at 1500 bwpd with a WHP of 1500 psi. In 2012 a FCO SBG and IPROF was completed. After the FCO and SBG was done the injectivity drastically changed. The well now injects 2700 bwpd at 575 psi WHP. ✓ The IPROF was reviewed and the stop counts showed that most of the injection was going in to the toe. However, the warm back passes indicate a lot of injection was entering the heel. Because we did a FCO SBG prior to the(PROF we may have changed the well bore conditions and reestablished injection in the toe causing the spinner to show more injection in the toe and the warm back passes to show more injection in the heel. The drilling recorded were reviewed and indicated 10 bbls of cement back during the cement job. Indicating cement behind the liner for isolation. This program is designed to log the well and if most of the injection is entering the toe a CIBP will be set to move injection back from M-06. M-06 is showing signs of water break though and is only 1000 ft away. is Well Intervention Details Suspected Well Problem: Specific Intervention or Well Objectives: 1 IPROF with warmbacks 2 Set CIBP to improve injection conformance 3 Key risks, critical issues: Mitigation plan: 1 Encounter fill FCO 2 3 Summary Service Line Activity Step# 1 F SBG 2 S Drift with 4-1/2 CIBP to deviation 3 C IPROF with warm backs,Set 4-1/2 CIBP Detailed work scope(If no RP/SOP exists for the intervention type,a well-specific procedure is required in addition to the SOR): 1 F SBG following pump schedule attached 2 S Drift with 4-1/2 CIBP to deviation 3 C 1. The last well test on 1-23-09 indicated 226 bopd, 95%watercut, and 4533 scf/bbl GOR. Because of the high watercut, the ontime for this well in 2008 was only 21%, and 0% in 2009. It was shut in and gauges hung downhole on 2-6-09 to perform a pulse test with new well. R-41 (POP'd 2-25-09) and recent sidetrack M-19B (POP'd 2-22-09). Analysis of the pressure data confirms that S-OSA is in pressure communication with M-19B and R-41. Reservoir pressure at end of the test was 3285 psi at 8800' TVDss datum on 8/24/08. Since the well is high watercut with little to no ontime, and the gas lift was dummied off for integrity pressure testing on 6/2/09, S-OSA has remained shut-in. If planned facility work to convert to water injection goes as scheduled, S-OSA could be ready for injection as early as June 2010. Completion• S-OSA is a lateral recompleted with 4-1/2", 13-Cr tubing and perforated in Zone 4B (wellbore schematic Figure 4). The toe section (completed in the upper portion of Z4B) was isolated with an IBP on 10-25-04, though it is questionable if this is holding. Once placed on injection, we will confirm the plug status. Either way, it is feasible to pull the plug if needed to ensure some period of injection into the lower perfs which is expected to have a better chance of sweeping to lower perforations, especially in M-26A and M- 06A. The deeper perforations in M-06A are only 800' away from the toe section of S- OSA; thus, the injection into the toe of S-OSA will either need to be limited or a future profile modification in M-06A will need to be performed. During the ST in December 1995, the original bore was cemented back to 8800' MD and the ST window drilled from 8800' MD. A 7" 13-Cr liner was run from 8621' to 10,538' MD and cemented with 468 cu ft of class G cement. No cement logs were originally run as this well was planned as a producer. An SCMT was run on 10-12-08 across a small window of casing from the tubing tail at 10,243' to top of liner lap at 10,362' MD. This is in the Sag/Shublik section which is not perforated and will remain unperforated because the Sag River in S-OSA is in the gas cap, and no offsets are perforated in the Sag River. This ~C'MT indicated vervgood cement bond across the entire interval. Since the well is operable, there are no plans to pull the tubing and enable an extended cement log. During the 12-23-95 RWO, the 9-5/8" csg and 7" liner were tested to 3500 psi and held for 30 min. A MIT-OA to 2400 psi passed on 4/22/05. An MIT-IA on 6-02-09 to 2400 psi passed and aMIT-T passed to 3000 psi. On 2/19/10 a PPPOT-IC passed. S-OSA currently exhibits slow IAxOA communication, manageable by bleeds. Operation as a water injector is not seen as an issue as long as the well passes an MIT-IA and the bleed rate remains manageable. ~~. ","1 ~~ ~~ Plan Forward: 1) Obtain Sundry for conversion to water injection. • CJ 2) Twin with Injector S-25A on surface 3) Place well on water injection 4) AOGCC witnessed MIT-IA to 2400 psi after injection has stabilized. Area of Review Wells within'/4 mile of S-OSA's entry into the Prudhoe Oil Pool are listed in the tables below. The measurements were made at the closest points between the wells within the Prudhoe Oil Pool. Five individual wellbores enter the AOR and the tables below summarize annulus conditions. M-06A is quite close, but the distance doesn't really reflect the true distances between injection entry in the S-OSA wellbore and production entry in the M-06A wellbore. The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in each conductor. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as notification that the treatments took piace and meet the requirements of form 10-404, Report of Sundry Operations. If you require any additional information, please contact me or my alternate, Anna Dube, at 659-5102. Cement Plug BPX DIU 1-59/O-24 Endicott Oil Field PTD # 95-188 Monday, Feb. 19, 1996: I traveled to BPX DIU Endicott MP! well 1-59/0-24 to verify the TOC on a open hole cement plug at Doyon Rig 15. BPX representative Eddie Vaughn had contacted me on 2/18/96 and ask for verbal approval to suspend this well until the co--owners could approve an AFE for a new bottom hole location. The well had been drilled to TD but the formation was water out. After reviewing the regulation and BPX proposed cementing program, I gave Eddie approval to commence operations. The reservoir isolation plug (Class G Cmt. @ 15.8 ppg) was tagged with 15,000# of driilstring weight and verified at 10,888', the top of the hydrocarbon bearing zone is at 11,162'. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1996: I traveled back the Endicott and witnessed the tagging and pressure test of the 10 3/4" casing shoe cement plug. The 10 3/4" casing shoe was set at a depth of 4,737', the TOC of cement was verified with 15,000# of drillstring weight at 4,424', after tagging the plug I witnessed the successful 1500 psi pressure test for 15 minutes. SUMMARY: Witnessed the tagging of the two cement plugs for suspension of BPX DIU well 1-59/O-24. Aquifers in the Prudhoe Bay Field Western Operating Area have been exempted from Class II injection activities by the AOGCC by Aquifer Exemption Order #1 as referenced in Area Injection Order #3. There are no domestic or industrial use water wells located within one mile of the project area. The following design criteria were utilized in determination of maximum annular injection pressures (the attached pressure nomograph provides injection pressure vs. fluid density data): S-24 13-5/8", 68#, L-80 set and cemented at 2,668' MD (2,668' TVD) Burst (80%) = 2,760 psi 9-5/8", 47#, L-80 set and cemented at 9,843' MD Collapse (80%) = 3,800 psi S-33 10-3/4", 45.5#, NT-80 set and cemented at 2,958' MD (2,958' TVD) Burst (80%) = 2,864 psi 7-5/8", 29.7#, NT-95HS set and cemented at 9,018' MD Collapse (80%) - 4,096 psi A determination has been made that the pumping operation will not endanger the integrity of the well being drilled by the submission of data to AOGCC on 10/30/95 which demonstrates the confining layers, porosity and permeability of the injection zone. The cement design for these wells (and the subject S-5A well) ensures that annular pumping into hydrocarbon zones will not occur. Worse case scenario calculations assume 17.0 ppg maximum fluid density and gas-filled inner casing (see attached nomograph for ppg equivalent mud weights vs. injection pressure profiles).
