The well has remained on injection and no re -pressurization has been observed. The evidence suggests that the IA re -pressurization was through the wellhead and has now been resolved. The well is now classified as OPERABLE. A 30-426 with the MIT data will be submitted at the end of the month for your records. Please call with any questions or concerns. Wellhead diagnostics with the well online have shown that the secondary tubing hanger seals have failed. The tubing was loaded and a passing MIT-IA was conducted on 10/7/2020. Current Status The well was shut in for the MIT-IA on 10/7/2020, but will be placed back on injection for further diagnostics as needed. Objective Repair leaking tubing hanger secondary packoff by injecting sealant/well lock/greenstick packing into the packing port void. Procedure 1. However,the IA fluid level was obtained with the well on produced water injection,with the wellhead temperature at 150 degrees. N-23A was used for pit dewatering this year and the wellhead temp was 48 degrees at the time of dewatering and also at the time of the MIT-IA. There was some thermal cooling during the time from when the IA fluid was obtained and the time of the state witnessed MIT-IA, allowing the fluid level to drop. Injection rates range from 2800-8000 bwpd over the background information, last year. An IPROF completed in November,2012 indicated that 90%of the injection was entering the etc: 10,730-70'MD perfs&10%of the injection was entering at 10,870-90'MD. The only previous(PROF in 1999 showed 100%of the injection entering the perforations from 10,730-70'MD. A removable patch will be placed across the perfs from 10,730-70'MD to allow injection into the other perforations,creating increase sweep. Based on the two IPROF's that showed almost all flow for history of well has been through this one set of perfs-will recommend that some MI slugs be injected into N-23A once the patch is set. A Furmanite wrap was installed on 9/23/2009 to repair a SH leak. This limits the pressure for an MIT-OA,but shouldn't impact the planned patch. Prior to setting the patch,a pro-active schmoo be gone will be jetted across the perfs during the coil drift to remove any gunk that has accumulated since the last SBG. The ID through the patch will be large enough to complete a future IPROF to determine new injection intervals. Well Intervention Details Suspected Well Problem: Inefficient sweep of the reservoir due to a suspected high perm.streak in one set of perfs. N-23A Permit Information Page 2 N-23A Operations Summary Pre-Ricj Operations Pull the 7" SSSV. Valve is set at 2074' MD. Test the 9-5/8" mandrel packoff to 5,000 psi. Notify David Nakamura at 564-5606 (MB 8-1) of the results of the packoff test or if any concerns arise. . Notify an AOGCC representative prior to commencing plug-back operations. RU CT unit. RIH with coiled tubing to 10308' MD - top of sandback at 10308' MD (bottom perforation at 10220' MD). Lay a cement plug from 10308' to 10070' MD. This will leave cement about 104' above the top perforation (top perforation at 10174' MD). NOTE: Top of cement must be to at least 10074' MD to comply with State regulations of cement being 100' MD above perforations. 0 With an AOGCC representative on location to witness the operation, R/U slickline and tag the top of the cement to verify cement top is at least at 10074' MD. . RIH and cut the 7" L-80 tubing with a jet cutter in the middle of a full joint of tubing above the production packer at approximately 9620' MD. 5. Displace the tubing and wellbore to 8.5 ppg seawater. 6. Freeze protect top 2200' MD with diesel. 7. Bleed tubing and annuli pressures to zero. 8. Set BPV in the tubing hanger and test from below to 1000 psi. Secure well. 9. Remove the well house and flowlines. If necessary, level the pad and dig out the cellar. Rig Operations 1. MIRU drilling rig. Pull BPV. Circulate out freeze protection from inner and outer annuli and recover for future use. Test 9-5/8" mandrel packoff to 5000 psi. 3. Install a TWC and test from below to 1000 psi. N/D the production tree. . N/U BOP. Test BOP to 250/5000 psi against TWC. Test annular preventer to 250/2500 psi. Remove TWC. Send adapter flange and tree to DSM for inspection and repair. . , Pull and lay down the 7" tubing. (Tubing should be jet cut at 9620' MD. Check the location and exact depth of the cut on production handover form) Inspect for NORM. Label tubing as it is laid down with well name and joint number. Install thread protectors on pipe which upon visual inspection appears to be re-usable. If tubing is salvageable, send tubing to Tuboscpoe for inspection. Replace 9-5/8" mandrel if failed test. RIH with PRT assembly. Mill up Baker "SAB" packer at ~ 9661' MD. CBU - beware of any trapped gas below the packer. POOH with packer and tailpipe assembly - Baker packer has a millout extension, therefore, we should be able to mill and fish the packer with the PRT. RIH with bridge plug. Set bridge plug at approximately 10047' MD. This will place the bridge plug 3' below a 7" casing collar. The whipstock will begin to mill out the casing 20' above the bridge plug. Shut in well and test casing to 4000 psi for 30 minutes to ensure casing integrity. NOTE: The inner annulus failed a 2500 psi pressure test on 12/9/96. Therefore, if the casing test fails, will set bridge plug then RIH with 7" seal assembly and 9-5/8" RTTS to test 9-5/8" x 7" casing strings to identify the location of the leak followed by a Schlumberger USIT log. P/U and RIH slowly with a Baker Anchor/VVhipstock assembly with MWD. MWD will be used to align the whipstock to 30° left of highside. The bottom trip anchor will be set by slacking off on the bridge plug. Continue RIH 40' above bridge plug. At this time start pumps and pulse MWD to check whipstock face orientation. Using MWD, align whipstock face to 30° right of high side making sure all excess torque is worked out of string. When proper orientation is achieved slack off with pumps watching for undesired whipstock rotation until bridge plug is tagged. At this point slack off 10 klbs to shear run-in pins on anchor. After pins are sheared pick up 10 klbs over to assure anchor is set. Slack of +45 klbs to shear whipstock from mill. Once sheared from the whipstock, displace well with Sheardril-n drilling fluid. Begin cutting window using only enough WOB and RPM to cut window as smoothly as possible. Continue milling casing and try to make at least 22' of formation, approximately 38' total of milling and drilling from the top of the whipstock. This will allow the full-sized watermelon mill to pass through the window all the way down to the bottom of the window effectively reaming the sidetracked interval. POOH after ensuring the hole is clean and free of metal cuttings. RIH with an 6" steerable assembly with MWD. Kickoff and directionally drill to Zone 4. Continue drilling 6" horizontal hole to TD. RIH with 4-1/2", 12.6#, L-80 solid liner, 7" x 4-1/2" packer/hanger spaced out for a 150' lap and a 2-3/8" inner wash string. Cement liner in place through the inner wash string with the total cement volume based on 40% excess in open hole, 150' lap and 80' shoe volume. Displace the cement with seawater. Bump plug. Set and test liner hanger/packer with 3500 psi. Release from liner top packer/hanger and continue displacing well to seawater. POOH, LD 2-3/8" inner wash string. RIH with 2-3/4" drillpipe conveyed pen' guns and perforate 4-1/2" liner. POOH and lay down guns. RIH with 4-1/2", 12.6#, L-80 completion with SSSV and 7" x 4-1/2" packer. Set TWC valve. Test to 1000 psi. ND BOPs. NU tubing head adapter and tree. Test same to 5000 psi. Pull TVVC valve. Freeze protect well. Set packer and test tubing to 4000 psi. Test tubing annulus to 4000 psi. Set BPV. Release rig. Complete appropriate documentation and handover to Production.
